(lol if i did one with you i wouldnt have you drawing a pony, i have human forms in mind for my ponies but ive yet to draw them...)

i want to do art trades with several people but i lack the drive to work on/make decent quality pictures. B( feelsbadman

this slight bit of rambling aside, /the eyes/

you may feel eyes arent your strong suit, but i really like this eye style lol

though if you really feel your eyes arent too good and want to practice, try drawing some realistic ones.
i believe @birdy posted a pretty good advice-y thing that had some notes on eyes long ago. ill run and find the tag that birdy used for all their tutorials and advice posts and post the tag here for you to check out if you want to :p

there's good stuff in everything in that tag, ive recommended birdy's color theory thing to probably at least a couple dozen people over the past few years. XD

(though purplekecleon's "How I See Color: A Tutorial" on deviantART is my personal favorite color theory advice thing out of all ive seen, and ive seen several over the past... 5 years)

and i like /trying/ to draw humans, ive practiced/drawn a few shoddy humans (most can be seen in #kattcanthuman lol) over the years.

i really want to avoid drawing a humans with features that are almost the same yet i lack any reference photos of other people to imitate/go off of when i practice humans so i end up not practicing much.

(good refs are crucial to learning how to draw something; you observe whatever and familiarize yourself with all its features and anatomy quirks, then once you get the hang of everything you can draw it freehand no problem.)

basically, if i drew a human for an art trade, it likely wouldnt be anything like my pony (more like horse at this point) art, itd be some simple pose and background or something.

buut then again i put more effort into making my art trades decent than i do into my other work so maybe id make something okay, i dont know lol

i /just/ realized the coloring i used for DL's logo in my newest upload doesnt have the coloring that's been used the most (red outline, yellow inside)

the ref pic i used had a yellow outline, red inside and i never bothered to check otherwise. and i reeeally dont feel like even thinking of touching that pic to fix it after spending (apparently) IO hours on it. damn it x_x

now that's gonna irk me for eternity. hhhhhhh
