A basic explanation of the rp plot:

Magic, in this world, is only contained by certain ancient objects. These objects expelled it into nearby areas, where it would effect people and animals alike. They were kept in hard to reach locations, and it is said that those who messed with them would be cursed.

People soon became capable of controlling magic as they wished. It was used only for good in its early days, however, as times changed so did people. It began being used to take advantage of others. Crime became common, and rarely was it ever met with punishment. Only those who would kill and take everything for themselves would survive, while anyone who tried to live peacefully was killed off rather quickly. The world was ravaged by war, with its beauty stripped away, seemingly forever. However, despite these dark times, not all hope was lost. A small group of people began to assemble, and they fought for good. Their only objective was to restore the world to its former glory, and -

limit the uses of magic. They appointed members all over the world, and upon becoming strong enough, took down every evil leader. Their name and acts became known to every person. They called themselves the "Guardians of Magic". They left their powerful leaders in charge, and began the search to find every source of magic. They took it upon themselves to destroy magic's sources, despite the curse that would come with it. The world began to recover and rapidly develop, while the use of magic ceased entirely. Within only a couple hundred years, magic became no more than a myth.
However, far from land, lies a cluster of isles, long forgotten and hidden away from the rest of the world. The only remaining magic in existence has been preserved here for centuries. To ensure peace in the world, The Guardians of Magic entrusted a group of their strongest warriors to protect and preserve magic long into the future. They were called the Ancient Beasts. They are to never stray from the -

They are to never stray from the instructions given to them by their ancestors, or else they will be punished with death. Within mountains at the center of all the isles, the Beasts chose one of the tallest peaks to be their resting place. This peak contained a source a of magic within it. The Beasts used it enclose themselves within rocks and ice, and put themselves in a hibernation like state for thousands of years. When the magic on the isles is threatened, they awaken. Once it is safe once again, they return to here. Being asleep for thousands of years has began to bear negative effects in recent years. The beasts have started to awaken weak, and with their memories altered. The rp will start with them waking up from their slumber once again, however this time, none of their memories of the past are intact. They have forgotten their skills, and their only guide is a scroll with their purpose written upon it. They will have to rediscover their skills, and adjust to being out in the world again. Times have changed a lot since when they were first given their mission, and they will begin to question their purpose. And to top it all off, every trace of the Guardians of Magic has vanished entirely. A new evil has began to rise, one like no other they have faced before, and the question of whether they will still be punished with death for disobeying their ancestors stands. Nearly every trace of magic on the islands has vanished, but its residents have adjusted to its absense. Suddenly bringing it back is sure to cause chaos. It will be up to the members of the rp as to whether they want to preserve magic, or get rid of it entirely. I have a couple of alternate paths/endings planned and I’m really excited to see where this goes!

Oh dang, this is going to be really fun to be in I think. For available times, I'm in Central time, and Saturdays or Wednesdays should be fine for me. Although Saturdays seem a little iffy. And ack, I need to make my other ocs ref aaaaaaaa
