I'm pretty bummed out how Bomberman ended up as an a assist trophy. On one hand, it's cool to see him as another Konami rep/a Hudson Soft rep (to honor his designer's legacy after his recent death) for the first time as far as I'm aware. But on the other hand it really sucks to see him as a non-playable character considering his history with Nintendo's consoles over the years, (including a crossover with Wario once) and has his very own moveset in a Smash-like game. #smashbros #bomberman

With that being said, there's still Super Smash Flash 2, and my 'hype-o-meter' for Smash Bros Ultimate are off the charts.

Yeah, it's very odd to see him put in such a lesser role. It is a bit worrying too for the possibility of any new fighters to be revealed, too...beyond maybe some more Echo Fighters, it looks like this roster is mostly complete.
