I'm used to dealing with hoards of idiots, each more eager to die than the last. So go ahead, send your armies, bring to me every single zealous moron you own. I will send them back in pieces and tears."

Ana: *stamps foot* That's not FAIR! Why do you have to be better than us?! Sargon is just trying to make our race powerful again and stop the nasty, racist humans from disrespecting us! What's so wrong about that?

Dianne: "There's nothing wrong with his mission, in theory. All the problems arise with his application. He took the worst possible path. Genocide. And don't tell me that he didn't intend to kill all the humans, that's bullsh!t. You see, when you take the darkest and most aggressive path, suddenly, you get all the goody two shoes of the world to pop out of the wood work to stop you. Right now, I'd be far away from Vallis, letting you idiots kill each other if not for one particularly powerful entity. I owed this entity a favor from long ago, and he asked me to help the opposing side. And now, I'm all up in your business, wrecking your plans and tearing through your ranks. And all of it could have been avoided if you all had just stopped to think for a minute."

Ana: OK, maybe we could have made better decisions, but those humans deserved to die! Disgusting, horrible creatures who think they're better than everyone else! Even if our mission ultimately fails, I'll still die happy knowing that we wiped out their pitiful species! ...And that Sargon cares about me!

Dianne: (Rubs face wearily.) "What are you talking about? You haven't even made dent in their numbers, let alone driven them extinct. Humans are everywhere, and they reproduce like rodents. If your plan was to drive them extinct, you've failed miserably. And again, Sargon values only your power and your usefulness to his cause. He doesn't care about you as a person. Ana: I know there are humans in other countries! I just meant that we've killed all the humans in Vallis. Well, not YET... But we will. That's why we're taking the army to the Old Kingdom next. It's the largest city in Vallis, and we're going to repeat what we did to Shacklestone there, too. And how are you going to stop us? *grins tauntingly*

(She now completely ignores people saying that Sargon doesn't love her.

Dianne: (Sighs.) "I don't know much about the Sovereigns, but I take it they don't have an army of their own? Look, Sargon needs to understand, there's no throne, no prize, there's no version of this where he comes out on top. Maybe you're right, maybe we can't stop you from getting out and attacking the Old Kingdom, but if we can't save the city, you can be damn well sure we'll avenge it."

Ana: *snorts* 'What's the point in avenging them? Killing us won't rebuild the city. Won't bring all the silly dead people back. And Sovereign DOES have its own army. But their King is a huuuuge coward! He's terrified of non-humans. He'll probably faint when he sees us marching up to the front gates.' *grins* 'It will be fun.'

Dianne: "It's the principle. Cause and effect. You as.sholes can't just be allowed to go unchecked. Even if you win, we'll make sure you lose. Get it? Well, if there's an army, I don't care how cowardly that weasle is, you're not just going to waltz in there and do as you please."

Ana: 'Why do YOU even care? I've heard about you... I heard that you once killed HUNDREDS of people... So tell me, why does it matter to you if Sargon kills a few humans? You're such a hypocrite.'

Dianne: "You won't get the chance. I'll see to that personally. If you think you have any power or right to kill who you please, then you've got another thing coming. This truce will be over soon and once it is, I'll be coming for you. And once you're dead, permanently, well, I have a most creative end planned for the count."

Ana: 'Don't even think about it! You might be strong enough to beat me - MIGHT - but you'll NEVER be able to kill my Lord Sargon. You have no idea what powers he possesses... What abilities... He's had over four centuries to hone his fighting skills. Your fancy plans and ideas are nothing to him.'

I might not know the full extent of his powers, but he doesn't know the full extent of //mine// either! He will fall, and when he does, I will force him to serve //me// for all eternity!"
