The shores of Afai were beautiful this time of year. The waves would sparkle as the came crashing on the sandy banks. Today was also quite hot so taking a break to relax in the sun was a definite plus for any hero in the making and that's exactly what Vix did. She found a not so crowded area to set her things and then was laying out in the sun watching the waves come and go as she debated going into the water.

The beach was crawling with travelers from all over natives of Afai and tourists alike were all enjoying this day in the sun. Activities here included surfing, swimming, a sand castle competition, and little shops could be found set up on the beach.
(Ahh there was more but i cant remember all that I typed TvT)

Enjoying the chance to walk around the beach without her brother looking over her every movements, Siren stands in the sun without her shoes on. “This is such a nice day. I wonder if there’s a cherrywine stand around here.” She then starts searching for a cherrywine stand.

Selene huffed as pieces of sand stuck to her curly mass of hair. She was mostly angry over the fact that her umbrella wasn't obeying her every move. Selene growled under her breath and as she kicked sand flew up onto her face and swimsuit. Naturally she cussed up a storm breaking the "peacefulness" of the beach.

Vix looked at the rather deep hole and laughed slightly "Karim why don't you just hop into the ocean instead of digging to it?" She scrambled up from her towel and peered into the hole at him "Wow this- is actually a lot deeper than I expected it to be." The sand gave way under Vix's hands and she fell into the hole-

Dregl was getting ice cream for him and Hazel before hearing the sailor mouth of a woman. He walked over to her holding the cones. "Oi oi, such language for such a pretty lady. One shouldn't be doing that especially when there are little ones present." He gestured to the kids running around. "Whats got you in such a huff perhaps Dregl could fix it by ice cream?" he offered one of his cones to her.

Selene inhaled angrily. She felt like punching him in the face but figured it wasn't necessary. "Thanks." She grabbed the cone trying her best not to break it and throw it at him. "What flavor are these icecreams anyway?"

She covered her eyes with her hand to shield them from the suns glare and looked up to the opening of the hole. "Wow its alot deeper now that Im in here. Hey Karim- how exactly were you planning on getting out of here?"

"Ah seems pretty lady has calmed down that is good! That means Dregl did good." He smiled happily and his large fluffy tail swayed along with his happy mood. "Ah, they are vanilla. Tell me what has gotten you so upset hm?"

She looked up at him. "Yeah perfect uh-" Selene paused for a second to observe Dregl. "You see this stupid freaking umbrella doesn't want to cooperate but I can't go in the water until I put it up." She sighed and licked the ice cream thinking.

Siren, hearing a shout coming from a hole next to her, gets up and brushed herself off. “I won’t. I’m just wondering why you’re digging a big hole in the beach!” She then steps on a bottle lying on the ground and falls backwards into the hole. “Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!”

Dregl scratched his chin and licked the ice cream he had. "Hmm could I perhaps give it a go? Finiky umbrella could be stuck. Though I would have to ask favor of you and hold ice cream so I can."

"Go for it then." She pointed at the partly ripped umbrella and sat back on her towel and got his ice cream. Selene flicked her tail curiously half wondering if this was going to work.

"Well okay- Oh goddess why-??" Vix managed to catch Sirene bridal style so that she wouldn't land on top of Karim or herself. "Quite the fall don't you think?" Vix laughed slightly and set Siren down. "Well, now the hole is getting pretty crowded-" She laughed awkwardly and immediately turned her attention to Karim again "Stairs you say, Karim? So you know how to carve out stairs from the sand? That's wonderful! You're always impressing me." She smiled happily totally believing in Karim's story at being a master architect.

After having her fall broken by the digger’s catch, Siren glares at him. “My pride is bruised, I’m in a hole in the ground, and I have no cherrywine. I’m in a bad mood right now.”

Dregl looked at the umbrella for a bit and busted out the mini sewing kit he always has on hand- yes this is a thing he carries all the time for emergencies- He patches up the tear in the umbrella and continues examining it before realizing its a twist umbrella. "Ah! Here is problem! You are just pushing but you must twist and pull." Dregl grabbed ahold of the umbrella and with ease opened it. "There we go no more umbrella problems."

"No one is gunna hurt any one- not on my watch" Vix said a bit sternly. "hmmm you are right though Karim its a bit cramped now and you wouldnt be able to make the stairs while we're in the way.." Vix pouted slightly for them getting out of the hole looked like it was going to be quite difficult indeed.

But thank you for the assistance!" She smiled though she was a bit concerned whether or not the more people that come the walls might cave in.

Dregl was astonished at the number of people in the hole "Wow how did hole manage to have three people fall inside? Hole is very dangerous. Here Dregl will hold you and lower you in and then you can grab one of them out yes? And you!" He pointed to Morgan "You can help pull them out after She grabs them yes? Yes. Plan is good."

Dregl looked very confused at why everyone was getting so worked up. Weren't they here just to get the people out of the hole? "Uh if Dregl may step in for a moment. The people in hole still need help and fighting won't be of any help to them."

Vix overheard them yelling at each other but couldn't make out much of what they were saying. "It seems our heroes are having trouble.."

Selene huffed half tempted to push him in but she resisted and crouched back down and held out her hand. "Jump if you need to." She inched a bit further. "Hey and if I fall Dregl catch me by the tail." She gave him a thumbs up.

Dregl nodded "Dregl will be ready to catch if you were to fall in. Same goes to the bell man." He stood behind Morgan and Selene ready to catch any of them if they were to fall.

Vix smiled at them "Here lets get her out first since she isnt too fond of our new snake friend." She gestured to Siren and helped her get to both morgan and Selenes hands.

"We must save everyone from dangerous hole, it would not be right to leave one there while taking other two out- woah!" Dregl made sure to grab Selene before she was pulled into the hole. "See?? Dangerous hole! Everyone gets out of it.

He seemed happy with himself and everyone else despite them almost getting into a quarl with one another.

Selene shrugged at Vix's comment. "This calls for celebratory icecream!" She announced happily burying her old icecream as she stood and brushed the sand off.

Selene ran off almost tripping on her tail. She stopped at her umbrella to grab money and something to hold her hair up. She stopped for ice cream and came back heavily breathing. "I didn't.. want it to.. melt."

Morgan nodded reluctantly. “I’m just glad my sister is out of the hole.” He looks at Siren. “Be more careful next time.”
Siren nods before noticing the snake wrapped around Karim’s neck. “Keep that snake away from me!” She burrows her head deeper into her brother’s clothes.

She set the tray of cones down to put her hair up. "Grab one. Trust me I didn't poison it." She added.

Vix looked at the hole then at Karim "We might have to close your hole Karim so we and others don't fall in again, is that ok?"

Its weird but it was kind of fun being saved instead of doing the saving." She giggled slightly and continued eating her ice cream.

Dregl too grabbed a cone. "Yey now everyone is getting along, ahhh this puts Dregl in happy mood." he smiled and his fluffy tail swayed around showing his mood.

Vix nodded "Exactly why I used them. Wow you're really tall. I bet you could take down a dragon! woahhh so coolll" Vix was excitedly thinking about all the heroic work she could do if she had his strength.
Dregl smiled lightly " Ah I see They are really soothing to hear. I was just curious. Fashion trend or not if you like them then that's what matters most yes? Hmm, I must get back to Hazel she runs off when I'm not around and I don't want her getting lost."

"Of course! We're friends now. Even the other four are our friends now. Hazel would definitely enjoy everyone. Alright goodbye and have a fun rest of day." Dregl waved goodbye as he walked away from them both.
Continuing off from Karim's comment about dragons sizes Vix smiled "Oh they're huge! Biggest one I've seen has a wingspan of a house! But then there's realllly tiny ones no bigger than birds theyre my favorite."

"Yea they're everywhere but most make their home in Vepura." She was taken back when he asked her about finding a sea serpent. "I don't see why not but how far out do you think we'd need to go?" She looked at the ocean a bit then back at him.

She couldn't help but giggle a bit after he put more thought into that crazy idea of his. "Well, why don't we just go to Vepura? We'll find Fillia and take her with us too cause we're a trio group." She nodded "Ye lets go swimming! J-just not super far out. I'm a bit embarrassed to admit but I can't swim. But I still like being in the water! As long as I can touch of course."

Vix laughed at how he didn't quite get her metaphor but that wasn't the point. As long as he was happy she was ok. "It would be pretty neat to see" She was currently standing in the water and she let go of his wrist as she saw him step out of the water. "Well its gunna be cold abit but you'll get used to it fairly quickly if you just hop in."

i read that as tetradactyl music and all i had in my head was screetching tetradactyls in my head

I'm tying my shoes to go to work and tbh all I see in my head is the damn playstation controller like "play me fam"

Vix covered her mouth to stifle a laugh "Ahhh Karim they're cleaner fish- basically theyre just cleaning your feet- pfff" Vix lowered herself into the water until she was basically sitting in it "ahh it is pretty cold give me a moment-" She leaned back quickly and dunked her head under the water and then pulled it back up quickly "Yep cold! ahhhh--" She shivered slightly but had a big smile.

Vix covered her face as she was splashed by Karim. "pfff well, of course, why not?" She tried to catch fish as well but with her hands rather than her mouth. She would splash Karim a bit on purpose to get back at him for splashing her.

Vix knew at this moment that she dun f- up- ahem I mean- Vix looked away totally innocent like "I have no idea what you mean- I was only trying to catch the fish- pff" She splashed him once more full force this time around, then scrambled up to her feet and ran away laughing.

Vix stood in the water a bit and was rocked by the water. then came in the other waves she was having trouble keeping her balance at this point and she was slowly being pulled out more. "AHhh Karim t-this isn't fun anymore-" Vix was standing on her tippy toes trying to get back to the shallow part of the water. Then the waves got wilder and started going over her head. Vix started to freak out a bit at this time since she could no longer touch the gound.

Vix was frantically trying to get back to the spot she could touch. Out of everything she's been through this terrified her the most. Her chest began to hurt as air was a thing she needed. She was thankfully able to touch the sand with her toes again, and like a majestic fish on land began to somewhat push her self to where she could semi-touch. She popped her head above the water and gasped for air and inched her way closer to shore.

I feel guilty for doing that too but i legit couldnt help but laugh at the last part you said just "-SHE JUST GOT REDESIGNED DAMMIT" killed me on the spot

Vix laid on the sand quite motionless for a bit panting and coughing a bit. After a moment of rest and being able to catch her breath finally, she pushed herself off the sand a bit so that she was now sitting. "I guess i-i... shouldn't have p-picked a splashing ...fight with a-a god huh?..." She said with a slight laugh in her voice but it was quite obvious she was shaken up by the whole thing.

Vix smiled lightly "Ah im sorry.. " She pats him on the head. "I'm ok though.. s-see?.." She held out her hands and looked at them, they shook and she pulled them back to herself. She didnt really know what to think at the moment for her head was at a blank as she was still calming down from her major freak out under the water. She stared at the ocean a bit "C-could I take you up.. on that swimming lesson.. not now.. but later?.."

Vix continued patting him on the head subconsciously. She was making light of quite the serious issue. She listened to his bells ring slightly as he tilted his head back an forth. "Thank you.. for getting me out of the water..." her hand was shaking terribly and she used her other one to stop it.

Vix smiled as he patted her on the head. "Ah, but you didn't mean to.. and in the end, you did save me, so you're more worthy than ever." she laughed a bit. "Who knew the aspiring hero such as myself would be rescued twice in one day." she smiled more seeing him smile "ahh there's your smile."

"Ahhh d-don't cry-!" She frantically tried to wipe his tears away. "yes! we're definitely ok now" After being able to somewhat wipe the tears away she stood up and dusted herself off from the sand sticking to her. "Common I think that's enough beach for one-day don't you agree?" She held a hand out to him to help him up.

Despite the circumstances Vix could say for certain that "I had fun too.." she smiled lightly and let go of his hand. "Just gotta pack up the towels and then pick up some food then we're all set for traveling again."
