Xenoceratops

In the time before, the last time the beasts of the peak were called upon, there was a mortal human who sought to fight the darkness alongside the beasts. His name was Caminus, and his lust for battle was legendary. However, there was arrogance in his heart, and the Divines saw this. They denied Caminus when he asked to be chosen to join the beasts. Unwavering in his desire to be one of the chosen, Caminus roamed the land, seeking out the darkness, tearing through them with unbridled savagery and cruelty. He had hoped that his fevered campaign against the forces of darkness would prove to the Divines that he was worthy of the mantle he sought. His deeds did far more than that. The Divines saw his brutal acts and frowned upon them. On the final day of the darkness, after it was vanquished, and the beasts were to be recalled to their resting place, the Divines summoned Caminus before their holy court, and asked him if he felt anything for the creatures he so brutally tore and left broken in his wake. Caminus was insulted at this, for he felt that his deeds were heroic, right and just, and here were these Divines, criticizing him for exactly what the beasts had done. Or, so he thought. The ones who were chosen were chosen for more than their prowess in battle. They came from all places, scholars, healers, mothers, and merchants., more than just war mongers. Caminus had proven not that he was worthy, but that he was unfeeling, selfish, arrogant, and cruel. At this, Caminus argued that he had done his job, better than the beasts, and demanded his rightful place among them. The Divines granted him what he sought, but at a price. The Divines decreed that if he were to act so cold and uncompassionate, then he would need a body to reflect it. And so, the Divines struck Caminus with a terrible curse, giving him a body of metal and rock, unfeeling, and numb. He ceased to be human and became Akhetian. He was granted what he sought and was allowed to join the beasts in their slumber. He was laid dormant in a tomb of basalt and bronze, not to awaken until the world was in need of him and his compatriots. However, unlike the others, who were allowed to rest in peaceful slumber, Caminus was forced to remain aware of the passing time, as the Divines decreed that he have an ‘eternity’ to reflect upon his actions. And there he lies still, in silent suffering.

Caminus, Bronze Beast of the Peak, may your rage never cease, may your sword forever run with the blood of the dark creatures that sought to devour our world, and may we never need you again.
-Testament of Caminus, the Bronze Beast of the Peak.
(BTW, Caminus is technically an Akhetian War Wagon. I suggest reading these posts for more info on what he is. #AkhetianInfo #WarWagons @Cosmic let me know what you think, this is the best I could do with the information provided, so let me know if anything’s wrong. Thanks!)
