The day was peaceful as the breeze was calm enough to put someone to sleep. Strolling through an open area came a long-hair cat, who looked like he had a lot on his mind. He then stopped by a nearby tree, which looked out of place being that the area was very big. With that, Yokubo sat down and looked at the scenery under the shade

Selene popped her head out of the tree, spit out a leaf and shouted, "Hey, big guy! This is my turf!" Although she was loud, the leaves in her curly mass of hair gave her a more innocent look.

Yokubo was startled by the sudden noise. He looked up and had given the curly haired girl a slight smile, but perplexed look. "Your turf? But one does not just simply own a tree~ Besides, all I'm doing is sitting under it."

Selene hopped down and walked around him on all fours before standing up and crossing her arms in a bossy way. "Don't be smart with me." Her voice was full of attitude and confidence but physically she was not a fighter.

Yokubo then started and worrying and quickly got up. "Ah sorry I didn't mean to offend you in any way! I just had a lot on my mind so I just thought I'd sit down and collect my thoughts.."
Normally he isn't very sensitive but for some reason today was quite the opposite.

Selene squinted at him, then raised a curious eyebrow. "If your trying to charm me I'm currently taken by that tree you just leaned on." She joked then tilted her head, "but you don't look like that kind of guy."

"Mm ok.... well... I'm not trying to charm you being that I just met you five minutes ago... and I hope you and that tree will live happily ever after haha" Yokubo tried to return a joke but was still startled from what had just happened.
"How long were you in that tree anyway? And what were you doing?"

"Relaxing until /you/ came along." When she said 'you' Selene intentionally dug her nail into his chest. "Geez your so loud. You broke the whole peacefulness of this place!" She waved her hand to emphasize the area.

"You seem really feisty... and angry.... And we both could have just relaxed if you hadn't said anything.... Ow!" Yokubo backed away from her and gave a gloomy but annoyed look. He then sighed. "Hey! How would you like it if I hurt you? Look, I'm sorry alright? I'm not necessarily in the mood to be fighting anyone right now..." Yokubo tried to say that in the most sincere way possible

She glared at him. "Fine you can stay. Just don't make the place smell. Selene huffed and cursed quietly and nimbly jumped up back into her tree the leaves clinging back onto her.

"Alright then, jeez. Besides the only thing here that smelled here was your attitude" Yokubo said quietly under his breath, and sat back down. He then started to get sleepy, until he quietly fell asleep, but he was still aware of his surroundings.

She threw an acorn at him from her tree. "Why are you so sassy?"

"Gah!" He threw the acorn back at her. "Hey, I'm just returning the sass, if anything you started it!

"Fine then. Peace treaty somewhere where I'm not paying." She jumped back down. "By the way you seriously need to cut your hair." She put hers up in a messy bun and equipped her mouth cover.

"My... hair? What? You don't like it?" Yokubo looked up at her from the ground and gave an "are you serious" look. "Well... I happen to like it and that's all that matters~" Yokubo gave her a smile.

"Totally." Selene said dismissively as she grabbed her pouch full of coins. "Ill pay for half?" She adjusted her thin sandals one last time just for God measure.

Yokubo looked up at her confused, and then spoke. "I hope you realize that I'm not gonna waste my money on whatever you got going on right now. How about we just end this feud... i don't know..... with words? Such as 'I'm sorry'?" He then got up and smiled at the panther girl, being that he is now looking down at her.

Selene huffed and replied,"cause good is so much better- duh." She started walking ahead towards the local town. "Market might be open too..."

"Hm food sounds good right about now..." Yokubo then smirked. "Mind if I... come along?" Yokubo looked at Selene, just itching to hear her answer.

"Sure. But your name first." She twirled her pouch the coins clanging noisily.

"Ok i guess fine by me." Yokubo began to follow Selene into the town, then a question popped up in his head.
"What is your name anyway?" He asked nicely

She looked back and said simply, "Selene. I'm apart of the Nyx family and they're all about space and stuff. Makes sense I guess." She shrugged.

"Mmm sounds cool. I'm Yokubo," He then thought to himself, realizing he was just a long-haired cat who likes flowers and has a big garden. So then he spoke again. "That's it I guess hahah."

They arrived in town the small restaurants either cafes or small diners. "Where should we go?" Selene looked back at Yokubo.

"Umm a cafe sounds good. How about that one?" He pointed to a cafe a couple feet away that wasn't crowded in the slightest. The smell of food romanced him towards the cafe before anyone could say otherwise.
