Aye, my old boyo and his little buddy Snowball.

Jackle (or Jack), is a caring and gentle man, he found Snowball as an egg. When she hatched and bonded to him, his appearance gradually started changing.
Snowball is roudy and can only chirp and squeak, not speak.

Magic is their main element.
Jackle uses his magic to manipulate Snowball in a few ways (Usually making her big enough to ride, seeing what she sees and even switching bodies with her...even though it's a temporary switch, Jackle doesn't like doing it). The longer or more often he uses his magic, the more drained and tired he becomes.
Snowball can only puff ice from her maw. Usually right into Jackle's ear to bug him...
She often hides in his coat or rests on his shoulders.
She has two front legs, two back legs and two wings.
