I'd like to help you on the topic since I'm gay too, but...I'm atheist, so I wouldn't be truly able to bring some light on your issue. The only advice I could tell you is that it's okay to be gay, just be yourself, don't think too much about the labels. And I'd like to add that religion is not incompatible with a different s3xual orientation than hetero u.u

God also asks us all to do good and not to judge others. You do that and you'd be closer to what He wants than people spending all their time demonizing others while never looking at their own hearts.

Try to slowly open up to mates on your class or art class. You seem like a nice man who can be a great friend. People will notice that and you may notice some others who are worthy friend material. Make the most use of the before and after class times (as classes are not for socializing) so you will fill your social needs before you get home. Internet friends are great, but you also deserve local friends.

“Love thy neighbor” and “treat others the way you want to be treated” are two things a handful of Christians don’t understand, but a majority do understand this.
Also the verse that gay hating people keep using, “man shall not lie with man” is actually a mistranslation of “man shall not lie with boy” which means “adult shall not lie with child” meaning that the “anti gay” in the Bible is actually anti pedophilia.

Just know that god loves you very much just the way you are.
