Impersonation and Shapeshifting of the Brinks by Reindeer-King

Both Brinks possess the ability to impersonate/mimic other creatures. However, it can be difficult for them to take a form they are not used to. For example, that edgy scribble half cat half human Dark Brink thing I did a while ago is one of his first attempts at taking a human form. The Brinks are more used to the forms of their Champions, as they can possess them more easily and they are more likely to consent to being possessed.
When taking this mimicked form, not everything about them is exactly like the original - Dark Brink's form tends to look darker and Light Brink's form tends to be lighter. As seen in the picture, the hair DB has while mimicking Mortikai isn't the dark blue it usually is. There are also certain qualities that the original has that the copy doesn't. These things are usually of items of sentimental value, such as Dispair's bullet necklace. The eye colour will also change: DB's will be between the original eye colour and dark red (with Morty's dark blue making a pinkish-purple), LB's will be between the original and light blue (with Dispair's orangey-red making a yellowish green).
They can't hold this form for long, as it will drain their power and will leave them weak. They usually take this mimicking form for manipulation or purely to disguise themselves.

This information about the Brinks being unable to mimic someone properly unless they are used to them, it makes one detail from one Shacklestone RP very interesting, does it not?
How could Dark Brink take the form of Mortikai's father? ;)

That last sentence though...
DU DU DUUUUUUUU

I like these little bits of Brink lore. X) I think it's cool that they normally copy the form of their Champions, but with small differences.

I love the concept of shapeshifting, that's why I created dragon forms for my cat characters.
