Re: I can explain the whole awakened thing, sorry about it being confusing. The beasts are pretty much ordinary humans, with the exception of their advanced skills. They were chosen by a past civillization to keep order in the world. They were frozen in ice for thousands of years, and when the ice is broken they wake up. Despite having been asleep a thousand years they don’t age by a single day. Hopefully that gives you a bit of an idea, I’m working on a more in depth explanation of the plot and I’ll be posting it within the next day or two. Hopefully that’ll help clear things up! As for the mythical animal question you asked, if you want your character to have one as their partner I’m fine with it. You can even give your human character some characteristics of some sort of mythical animal.
