Seri ran as fast as she could pushing past anyone that would stand in her way to her destination. Reaching the war room she spotted Claudiesa and quickly went to her side. "I'm sorry to barge in like this unannounced-" She quickly remembered her manners and put a fist to her chest before bowing to her. She then stood up straight again and once again began speaking "I'm unsure if you remember me ma'am but I'm from the upper peaks of the mountains, one of the guardians of Goddess's dragon. Not the point- The dragon is gone ma'am and in its place is a man! Argh, it's so much easier to show you rather than tell you I apologize my pushiness in the future but this is dire!" Seri ran out the room and poked her head out from the door frame waiting for Claudiesa to follow her.

(Seri has the same energy levels as Felicia pff)

Claudiesa was busy going over world map with her battle tactics officer when Seri burst into the room.

"I couldn't forget Felicia's mother. What's the problem?"

As she heard Seri rapid fire off everything she'd seen, she recoiled.

"What?!"

She hurried out of the room with Seri, leaving a bewildered battle tactics officer behind.

While quickly making her way back to the barracks with Claudiesa, Seri made sure to brief her about the man. "A warning my lady but he has a powerful aura and it bent me to his will. I can't describe it entirely but it felt ancient... He didn't even have to say anything and I knew where he wanted to go and what he wanted. It's like a burning sensation in the chest but that wasn't the only feeling- just mind caution, if he gains control of you we will be in serious trouble." Seri's chest began to burn again as they neared the barrack main building. "He's in there my lady." she opened the door for Claudiesa but was on top of her guard, though she felt unfit to fulfill her duties due to how easily manipulated she is around this man.

Claudiesa listened intently to Seri's recount of the strange power.

"Ancient you say, hmm...I wonder..."

As they neared the barrack Claudiesa felt the sensation in her own chest.

"I shall be careful, but if I succumb and he uses me for evil, you know what to do."

She put her fist over her own heart in salute before heading down into the barrack.

Seri nodded and stood watch over Claudiesa as she watched her enter the barrack.
The barrack looked a bit trashed, soliders belongings scattered everywhere, half eaten foods as if the taster was disgusted with it and discarded it.
Further down the hall a rather large man in height was ducking into another room of the barracks. He was making quite the ruckus.

Claudiesa glanced around the room, seeing the messy state it was in, as she walked past the debris strewn around the barrack, she heard the ruckus further down.
Her training that had been drummed into so many years ago by her trainer kicked in, she took a few deep deliberate breaths to calm her rapid beating heart and to still herself for what she'll see.

She crept closer to the next room, the sensation amplifying intensly in her chest.

She stepped into the room.

Under her helm her eyes widened at how big the man was. He looked to potentially be a full head taller then her.

Getting over her shock she confronted the stranger.

"I am Lady Claudiesa, leader of Vepura. Who are you?" she said with a slight growl to her voice.

The man turned his head and looked at her through his mask then back at what he was doing "vucoti svaust wux re. dout adul renthisjic ihk wux." His voice rumbled slightly for he wasn't accustomed to speaking with his body quite yet. He looked back at her curiously to see if she understood him. But he didn't have to look long before knowing that she couldn't. He sighed slightly and shook his head. "You don't speak the ooble di juanth, tongue of old... Yet you have zezhuanth iejir, ancient blood.. how curious.. " he found what he was looking for which was boots. "Two legged creatures are interesting.. wearing these instead of bare foot."

Claudiesa blinked completely bewildered at the garbled words he spoke. She was having doubts as to whether she could communicate with him, when he spoke once more but with a few words she understood, though some left her befuddled. What did he mean by her having ancient blood and how would he know if she did.
She shook her head leaving that thought alone for the moment.

Turning her attention back at the man picking out a pair of boots, she addressed him once more.

"You still haven't answered my question. Who are you, and why are you here?"

He set the boots down and looked at her fully. "You two legs called me many things though I don't have a name.. mother never gave me one..and the little one told me to stay here.. in this.. barrack?" He nodded as if to confirm he said it correctly. "The little one says I need clothes.. since she found my previous state.. uncomforting?"

Claudiesa's gears were turning upstairs in her mind, she had a strong feeling of who this man was but she wanted confirmation first.

"Tell me, do you know the name of your mother? As for the little one whom you refer to, her name is Seri. Does she seem familiar to you?"

She eyed him intently waiting to see how he answers.

(sorry for the wait had to help make dinner. ^^')

He perked up and turned back to his boots that wear way too small for him "Yes I do. Id never forget her. Her name is Destria.. ah yes the little dragon!" He smiled lightly "she visited me everyday. She and some others. " He looked over at the boots and decided they were too small and tossed them. He went rummaging around looking for another pair.

Claudiesa let out a relieved breath, she had a feeling and it was confirmed.
She walked over to a chest and rummaged through it till she pulled out a pair of worn boots that looked like they would fit.

"Here. They might be a little snug but they should fit."

She held the boots out to him. Taking stock of his appearence she noticed his hair is green and he wore a mask.

"Tell me, why did you leave the safety and secrecy of the peaks of the mountain, uh...what name should I call you, Father dragon?"

"Oh thank you." He put the boots on. Along with the robe Seri threw at him from their first meeting he looked decent. "The other dragons astahii re restless, they are restless. Have you not noticed.. you being from zezhuanth iejir, ancient blood. I haven't spoke to another of our kind with your type of blood in a very long time." He looked at the mess he made and began picking up the things he's scattered. "Hm?.. you may call me anything you wish. As does the other two legs."

Claudiesa nodded in response.
"They have been as of late."

She noticed him start to pick stuff up.
She shook her head and said, "Don't worry about the mess."
She was trying to think of a name when he mentioned ancient blood again. She looked at him curiously.

"No I didn't. What do you mean by ancient blood? and our kind?"

"Restless dragons mean an ill omen.. something bad will happen soon.. I too cannot shake this feeling. That is the reason I am coming down from the mountain." He smiled as he noticed how curious she was like most were. "Our kind, dragons of old. The first to be born. I may be mistaken but your aura says other wise. It burns brighter than other dragons in the area and it has a somber color to it. Quite pretty actually.. though not the point. Besides me being the first there was the second and third and so on. Our first generation so to speak. We all spoke the tongue of old but it seems the newer generations lost the skill to speak it." Though wearing a mask over his eyes his gaze was looking right through Claudiesa "Tell me have you never thought about why no one else is like you? Why no other dragon here can reach your stature not only in height but also power?" He turned away "but as I said I can be wrong. You may not be the original but you might as well be a descendant. Another clue that you are a descendant is that you can still speak to me as we are on equal footing. Unlike the little one at the entrance who can't bring herself down here or she might fall under again. Auras are a powerful thing."

She fingered the chin of her helm in thought.

"They and you might be sensing the urgings of war. Vepura and many other countries are under threat from the ruler of Erul."

Claudiesa flushed slightly under her helm at his remark.

"I'd be lieing if I didn't say I wondered about all of that. My mother told me my size comes from my father. Though I never knew my father, my mother said he passed away shortly after my birth."

She put her hand over her heart. She could still feel that sensation.

I can feel the effect of your aura. Even now I'm making a point to keep my will in place."

"So I've been told by the little one. But that is not the reason of why we're getting restless. War is war and we've always seen it.. no this is something else but I can quite place it." He said rather concernly and crossed his arms a bit. "i see apologies for bring up bad memories." He turned away a bit "I cannot help my aura its only affective towards other Dragons. Two legs don't feel such a thing. I will try and supress it." As he said that the heavy air that seemed to have surround him got lighter.

Claudiesa was quiet for a moment. If it's not war the dragons and him were sensing perhaps it had something to do with Destria herself. She was not sure if she should mention what happened to The Voice of the goddess Destria, Serah just yet.

She smiled at him.
"You don't have to apologize, even though I didn't get to know him, I know he was a good man." she said reasuringly.

She felt the sensation in her chest subside a bit and felt more ease. She didn't feel like she had to fight for her own will so much.

She noded apreciatively.

"Thanks, Vyre." She said testing a name to see what he thought.

(sounds like wire but with a v)

"Vyre? Is this the name you've decided to call me?.. hm." He scratched his cheek a bit oddly enough he was a bit embarrassed. "Vyre it is then"
He stretched slightly "So Lady Claudiesa. Would you like to leave the barracks? I for one would like to see how my home changed over the decades I've been in the mountain"

She nodded confirmation then added, "If it's to your liking. It'd be weird if you didn't have a name of some kind other than father dragon."

She offered her hand out to him in official greeting.

"Just Claudiesa will do. And yes lets get out of here. There's a lot to show you."

"I shall go by Vyre then. As it is quite to my liking. " He looked at her hand curiously deciding what to do exactly. He put his hand in hers. Being in contact with her he got a full blast f her aura and it overwhelmed his senses a bit. He quickly let go of her hand and he quickly made sure to fix his composure. "Ahem. Y-yes. Let us be off then.. shafaer nuade!" He walked passed Claudiesa and out of the barracks where Seri was. He patted her on the head and even though he suppressed his aura Seri still couldn't bring her self to speak to him.

Claudiesa followed him out of the barrack into the sunlight, a pleasant breeze was kicking up stiring the grass.

She gave Seri a nod that he was safe.

"Rest easy he means no harm."

She looked at Vyre, as she came up even with him.

"So the strange words you speak are of old dragon tongue. I would like to understand it, but first what do you want to see?"

Seri bowed slightly to Claudiesa before hesitating on returning to her post. Eventually she did return to it.

Vyre nodded at her "Yes only dragons know the language since it is ours. It'll be hard to relearn the skill but.. if you'd like I could teach you it some time as I've done with other long ago."
He looked at the sky and then towards what he thought the direction of the town.
"I've always seen it from my cave but never up close, could we go to the town perhaps?"

She nodded her thanks.

"I would like that."

She pulled ahead of him then turned back at him beckoning with her hand for him to follow.

"Of course. It's a sizeable town, lots to see."

She turned heading toward town.

"Well while heading towards the town we can I can begin teaching you simple words" he chuckled to himself as he walked towards her then next to her as they made their way to town.

Claudiesa for the first time in her life looked up literally to someone.

"Well, what's the first word you would teach me?"

A gentle breeze kicked up and rustled her hair, and Vyre's robe as they walked briskly to town.

(lol that made me laugh X'D)

"Well how about the word hello? Ava'yorn. Ava' the prefix means good tidings and yorn is welcoming the pressence."

Refusing to wear a shirt- more specifically he could not find one that would fit him the wind blew his robe enough to show his upper torso. He didn't seem phased by this.

"Now you try and say it, though depending on your tone it can also be a bad greeting. Our language is usually straight to the point and depending on tones one word can mean many things."

Claudiesa repeated the word a couple of times to commit it to memory.

"Ava'yorn...ava'yorn...ava'yorn.."

She liked the word a lot, it rolled off the tongue well to her. She was going to repeat the word once more when she saw his robe blow back. She was suprised to see he was trim and toned despite being stuck in a cave for most of his life. It puzzled her how he could be good. The rest of what he was saying caught her interest, pulling her attention back to him.

"What is the proper and inproper tones for it?"

The first few buildings at the edge of the town were quite close now.

Vyre smile to himself as he heard Claudiesa repeat the word again and again.
"Once you have that down the next easiest word is goodbye."

He looked at the roofs of the buildings coming into view as they got closer. His excitement to see people up close and personal was beginning to show.
Snapping out of his excitement he got back on track with their mini language lesson.

"Well really it depends on how you would say it. If you disliked someone you would say it with a sour like tone. If you liked them you would say it with a happy tone. Does that make sense?.."

(pfffft lol XD tried to describe kinda how he looks in some of the pics of him. he don't look flabby but toned)

She nodded in understanding and tried it out in both tones.

"Ava'yorn." she said pleasantly, smiling under her helm to help the inflection. She then did the other tone.

"Ava'yorn." she said distastfully, frowning with it as well.

"I see what you mean now. Heh. What's goodbye?"

She saw him tremble with excitement as they drew close to the enterence of town. She smiled.

Vyre smiled more visably this time. "Youre a natural." He looked forward once again to the town that was getting closer and closer.
"Ah goodbye is veyet'toon. As with Ava' , Veyet' is a prefix and its basic meaning is until. Toon means next. So Veyet'toon together means until next or until the next time. This doesn't have a tone because usually when you say veyet'toon it's always to someone you wish to meet again."

(yesh lol)

"Veyet'toon...veyet'toon...veyet'toon..."

She repeated it like she did before. I didn't quite roll off the tongue like the previous word but it was easier to remember.

"Veyet'toon...until next time."

"Ah, we're here. Welcome to the town of Rennith."

People were buseling to and fro up and down the cobblestone roads as they entered town.
The buildings had clay tiled roofs and stone walls, merchant booths lined all over the place saleing colorful trinkets, curios, food, etc.

(I sadly must call it a night qvq we should definitely continue this another time though! It's very interesting >v<)
