The Vaseterm arm bands.

The arm band is one of the most important thing to a silverblood, if not the most important.
Back in the days of old on Deluna, the Vaseterm were highly advanced in both science and Magic, one of the many Marvels made was the arm bands

On Deluna almost everything was run and controlled with the Magic and how the silverbloods control this was with their arm bands, they use then power machinery, operate vehicles, to communicate telepathically with one another, navigation and maps, and so on. ( View them as magic computers that can do a lot more)

There were a few events in Deluna time line that sabotage the silverbloods way of life, most of this involved Omen as the puppet to Soledormir or Void.

Do to what happened most of the knowledge was lost and wipe clean, in present day very few know how to operate a arm band past the basics, but those who lived in the time of Deluna would know more, unfortunately do to what Soledormir did the full potential of the arm bands is lost.

( Sol pretty much breaks everything )

Judas know how to unlock some of the things that were done but unfortunately with Killy in him it not wise to have Omen tamper with any arm bands... He could fix a problem or end up sabotaging the arm bands and make it back fires to blow up the individual...that just some things he could do.
Funfact: Omen got a hold of Catch arm bands and mess with Stuff, one Judas use this opportunity to give Catch site to see Soledormir and his children in visions and with that gave Mina a message. Unfortunately Killy did something to, the big bad vision was one of those things.

[ What do the arm bands do?]

The arm bands do many different things, they are what allowed a silver blood to control Magic,
when a silverblood 'chance' to use there elemental power they are telling their arm band what they want to do and there arm bands help guide and control the magic into what is been said.

[That one strange diary]

The arm bands also holds the individual genealogy, and info on that person, seals, Magic, medical history, Exe... this can be displayed as a magic hologram around the individual, it appears as a ring around them with symbols in the Vaseterm language, by picking different symbols it will open up different displays.

The one for genealogy look like a constellation of stars connected to one another, and each star is a blood member of the individual.

( Omen has the largest constellation and when he took Catch arm band that when he confirmed his suspicions that Catch was in fact a descendant of Alexandria and Faye )

[Seals]

It's not uncommon for a silverblood to have at least one seal on them, the most common is the 'Nightingale' this seal is place on most Silverbloods to help hide them from dark creatures and Omen.

[The swap]

It's not common knowledge and usually has to be shown how to do it, but if a silverblood swamps arm bands with another silverbloods and give it back the two then can send messages to each other.

I'll explain 'swapping', the arm bands can be removed, the Vaseterm did this a lot on Deluna to operate stuff, when two silverbloods swap arm bands it can be used for different reasons depending on what that person specializes in

a 'Clerics' (medic) can check the other person medical history and see how that persons Magic stability is.

Some Pathfinders can use the navigational part of their arm bands like a map or Blue print, we're ever they go their arm band is making notes of the layout around them. They can show a map or layout of an area and their pain in their hand much like a hologram but it's made of Magic.
Trackers, architects, can all use this.

Some examples: Ethan is considered a gifted Pathfinders, been a midnight Walker only add on to his abilities, at 15 he the best tracker in the silver Spears clan, he can use his vision to locate an individual or thing he has seen and then show on his map the location and world/Realm they are at.

Omen arm bands are extremely advance and he has extensive knowledge and training in using them, Judas keep Blue prints of different things and place in his arm bands and use them for different things, one is how he makes structures, he already has all the info he needs to build most buildings, Gates, and so on, for over the years, all he has to do is carve out the spell and then use his Magic.
The over thing Omen can do with his arm bands is called a 'ping' this is tied into his sound Magic, the mapping functions of the arm bands and visions. Omen will take off one of his arm bands and toss it against a wall, floor Etc... The arm band will make a ping sound on contact and when this happens the Soundwave is mapping out the extended area, when Omen put the arm band back on he now knows the layout of the area in great detail, including any individuals or other things that the ping pick up. This is something that took him thousands of years to master with his Advanced Training.

[Clan leaders ]

Clan leaders have a special symbol on their arm band, it not only marks that they are a head of a clan but they can send messages to others clan leader without swapping arm bands.
Their arm band also let them message members of there own clan without swapping arm bands.

[Removal]

The arm bands can be removed and put back on, when the silverblood take off there arm bands there are glowing symbols on their skin in that spot, this is because the arm band is a part of them and if the band is lost or broken it will eventually reconstruct itself back on the arm.

A arm band will breakdown after 3 days if it's not returned to it's rightful owner, and it will be a few days before it materialize on the Silverbloods arm.

If a silverblood losing an arm bands or getting one broke it will weakend their Magic and make it harder to control.

Losing an arm completely past the tattoo markings means they have lost that arm band completely and their magic becomes unstable.

Funfact:
Judas does have certain battle tactics he was train to do and when he gets serious he fights out of habit of what he was taught, if Judas isn't going for a killing blow he goes for the arm. Many Silverbloods have lots their arm do to Omen, and so has a lot of other people just because of battle habit, Mal has had his arm taking off more than a few times but thankfully he a Nightmare and can just reattach it.

[ Careful with pushing buttons]

Most silverbloods don't even know how to operate an arm band, the most they know is that they chant and Magic happen! *Sprinkle pixie dust*
But it is possible for a silverblood to activate their arm band and start mess with Stuff, thankful there are safe guards on arm bands to help prevent one from accidentally doing something to make themselves blow up or lose an arm(which can happen)
The few that can or do operate armbands generally don't explore too much because of the risks.

Other things that could go wrong is messing up their magic in general.

The color of magic just depends upon the individual , and when they use their arm bands the rings and projections will be the same color.

[ Locks]

Locks are usually on arm band as a safety measure for different things, like I said before, but some lock are places to prevent an individual from using there Magic or the other functions of the arm band.

Omen play and tampers with his arm bands all the time, Omen has a ton of locks on his Magic that were place as safety measures, his inability to summon long range weapons without a special item is one of these locks, he also not able to become a clan leader, or have his gem feathers grow back, Omen tampers with his arm bands to try and break these locks but unfortunately for him ( but lucky for everyone else) he can't, usually what happens is his magic ends up backfiring on him or the color of his clothes change and he has to figure out how to fix it again.
