i have a slightly used 2ds battery from my brother's 2ds which he can't use (itstopscreenshattered)
would replacing my 2ds' battery with his fix the battery life issue??
is it even okay to do that-

i'm pretty sure it might be the battery??
like i've been using this same 2ds for 2 years now, so i imagine the battery's getting warn out
the used one has been had for the same amount of time, but it only got like maybe a month or so of usage before it broke
and it hasn't been turned on until yesterday so
i think the used battery should be viable maybe

3DS battery going? Replacing it will help, I had to do it with my system recently.
Check to see if the battery is swollen; if it is, replace it or you risk the battery leaking/exploding from pressure.

Your story sounds exactly like mine actually; I noticed the battery when Colors wasn't letting me draw as long, about 2 years after originally getting the system.
