The sky was a withering dark on this night, and the only moon out let off a faint navy light on the streets. Even cats couldn’t see past their own whiskers in the darkness. Monsters that lurked in sewers and woods adored nights like these, so it was incredibly dangerous to go outside in this situation.

Ambrose was wandering around a small convenience store, debating on whether to buy something and leave, or stay in the well-lit room and pretend to be looking around.

Avah wandered the dark streets, her heart pounding in her chest (Do they have heartbeats? xD). She felt on edge, her eyes wide and she constantly looked around and behind her. She felt some relief when she spotted a convenience store and she rushed inside

Ambrose lifted his head as he saw Avah hurriedly enter the store. “It’s pretty scary out there tonight.” He said aloud, mostly just to create small talk with Avah or the cashier to save him from the idea that he’d probably hide here until dawn. Sure, they could fight the monsters, but with lack of sight, it would be nearly impossible.

Ambrose pulled the strings on his jacket out of habit, and opened a bag of chips that he hadn’t yet paid for. “We’ll hear about the death count in the morning, I’m sure.” He mumbled.

The cashier looked at Sirius, seeming a little shocked at how he hadn’t noticed him in the store until now.

(guys so I know Asher isn’t in this, but he’s also a GV and I was thinking about him. But do you guys think I should brutally murder him or keep him alive?)

Avah nods, "Yeah, that always happens on nights like these" she draws her tongue over her lips, "But no one thinks twice about people going missing after nights like these"

(Patty would probably become more mature and start doing something. Either that or I’d make her die too)

“They start worrying when vampires disappear though.” Ambrose licked the chip salt off of his fingertips and finally looked at Sirius with an icy blue gaze.

Avah followed his gaze to Sirius, not recognizing him one bit

The cashier casually put the money into the register, then flinched as a body was slammed into the window from outside. “Holy sh*t...”

Ambrose flinched as well.

Avah hardly reacted to it, her eyes scanning the junkfood

Ambrose shyly smirked, “We’ll make beds out of chip bags.” He joked. His heart was pounding and he was unsure of what to make of the situatuon.
