I broke my ankle a while back so I got a little more time to myself than usual. ;) @serio: You can often see intense light breaking through gaps in clouds and having very little bounce light effect areas still under cloud cover. But yes, I should have added a middle ground with light falling on buildings to really sell the idea in a painting. Good call. :)
you know Munin, I really think you should publish a nice little book with your work. I love your direct, bold approach. Great stuff as always. I need to break a bone so I can get some time to paint.

cool effect but maybe the buildings could get more light from such bright sun. Anyway nice stuff.
