Kaito Dragon Form by FadingGlory
This is the dragon form of my OC Kaito, whom I made some time back. This is sort of an updated design from his last drawing. #FGKaito
Kaito comes from a species built for desert terrain. His large wings give him lift in the otherwise near-breezeless skies. Thick plating on his back protect him from the sun, and special holes near the base of each plate allow wind to blow through and cool his skin.
The white spots along Kaito's sides glow at his will, though he only tends to use them in the dark. He can breathe fire.
Despite his fierce appearance, Kaito is open, optimistic, and social. He loves entertaining others and tends to adjust his behavior to better suit those in his company. He worries a lot about others' opinions and will do whatever he can to help their needs.
Though not in this picture, Kaito has a best friend named Yucca. She is a fairy and serves as his loyal companion and advisor when needed. Kaito knew her since he was a young dragon.
I should have a full ref for his human form... sometime?

Re// Most Zeharu don't even have that cross their minds. Their manes are their pride, the longer it is, the more beautiful one is thought to be (Lance for example, is loved for his long hair).
But if they did cut it short, that Zeharu would probably get some dirty looks (Earth variants naturally have shorter manes though).
Depending how short they cut their manes, they could feel the air better around them (Their spines are sensitive to temperature changes and attacks, but their mane usually protects them/gives them some sort of buff against elements they don't like or attacks from other Zeharu. Darkness variants have the most sensitive skin and spine under their mane, it's why it's so fluffy).
They also have no scales where their manes grow, so if a Zeharu was to say, shave themselves bald, they'd probably be miserable and targeted by others.

( the thing that @Memes_Inc did, was what happened last weekend RP in Skey, Eater talked to Weaver, and what Fluffy did for fun was used Google Translate and that what happened, so she made a meme out of it. )

Kaito's build and spikes remind me of a really cool dragon figurine I got as a kid, I dunno where it's at now but I always loved that figure for how /cool/ and fierce looking it was.
Though ... my old dragon figurine had tons more spikes than Kaito has. That dragon might aswell have had spikes on spikes on spikes. XD
