Have a Heart by Siobhanatron
Ten years ago on this day, I had open heart surgery to fix the ASD (Atreal Septic Defect)... in my.... heart? :'V
Basically a hole that was leaking blood out of my heart into my, IDK, places it shouldn't have.
They hooked me up to an ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation) machine, STOPPED MY HEART, SAWED THROUGH MY RIBCAGE, and took some of the surrounding heart sack (haha, sack) and plugged up the hole. Then stapled (that was easy) me back together and REVIVED. All just under two hours.

AND DON'T PITY ME FOR IT, IT'S OKAY it was really cool and this is important to me, haha.
Did I mention that they found it by accident right before it would have killed me? That was God right there, son.

10 yrs and still going strong which is stellar
