Species info: These dragons originated from Earth thousands of years ago, but due to humans hunting them to near-extinction the elders of the species, the Space variant, gifted those who remained their ability to survive outside the Earth and into the wide expanses of the universe. However, some were not compatible with the gift and were forced to escape to the furthest reaches of the globe, these being the Wind and Poison variants. The rest of the variants were able to make the journey into space with their elders, and that is where they have (mostly) stayed.

Variants (smallest to largest): Metal, Wind, Fire, Poison, Ice, Rock, Energy, Light, Dark Matter, Space
Each variant has a temperament "stereotype", such as Ice variants being anywhere between calm and cool to as cold as the mist of their manes. They are also very different in lengths, with Metal variants being around 18 metres and Space variants being around 175 metres.

Variant subtypes:
Metal - Gold, cobalt, iron, nickel, platinum, tungsten
Fire: Sun, star
Ice: Snow, water
Rock: Igneous, sand, gravel
Energy: Laser, electricity
Wind: Breeze, hurricane
Poison: Acid, Dart
Dark Matter and Space variants don't have subtypes
