Pileated Woodpecker by phoenixed
This sketch is all kinds of lazy. Class was fun though. I debated between drawing the Barred Owl and this guy, the Pileated Woodpecker. I choose this guy though because his call is pretty crazy, it totally caught me off gaurd in the field X). The Pileated is also one of the largest woodpeckers in the world. It's the largest in Ohio. Pretty cool birb.

One of these guys hangs around in the neighborhood I live in, it likes the few tall/huge trees in the area. :P
Their call is pretty cool, I like hearing it. lol
Aand this might be a lazy pic but it still looks pretty good.
