Experimenting with a simpler drawing style with no blending. Thoughts?

this is a good style to explore but i don't think this looks tHAT great

i think it maybe because of the background? the yellow light and the blue one isn't just working for me. i do think the shading style would be better off if the bg was different

i think it may be because the bg is kinda blended? i mean even if i imagine it nOT blended it still doesn't feel right idk

Cool, with the white lines I can tell he's made of metal. :)

Re: Lol thanks for both of those comments!! My honey pot is my boyfriend. That's just one of his many nicknames!! Also, really nice drawing of Scizor!! It looks so metallic!!

I quite like this sharper looking style. Perhaps it'd go well with one of your wonderful backgrounds.

Re: Haha! Thanks!! Don't even think too much about that bg. I don't think it is that bad. Besides, I, too, have times when my bg could match the picture a lot better. X,D

Aside from what others have been saying, I will say that Scizor here does look nice and clean! This is an artstyle I'm rather fond of, actually.

I'm a big fan of the change of style, I recommend that you continue on experimenting with this.

Re: Lol! Thank you!
Ooh yes I've heard that quote, but I can't imagine where the "flattering" appears in my painting. XD
