Triclan was a firm, but assertive man, and a very successful king. Following his father, Silvin's exploits, he continued to work on the expansion of the country in a more positive way. He partnered with and aided Zabar by offering them water mana, absorbed Humas into Hidrae by offering them benefits with citizenship, negotiated with Almeim to become a vassal nation, and allied with Holsha, a major world power.
However, he also kept his family's darkest secrets under tight wraps. They never cut ties with the unseely Fae, despite telling Holsha the contrary.

As the lies grew, this proved to be a heavy weight for his already mentally unstable son, who would later be slowly driven to madness under the pressures of being king.
