Malice little face was scrunched up in a scowl, he hated been forced to change to his true form in the dream, Mal curl his lip at Shoji reinsured Omen had been looking after him, the little light Eater had a moment of confusion with his mother change in tone, his big ears laid back and his four eyes widened with the news of his death, he remembered the vision the moon Blood had, the one of the possible future we're Soledormir returned...

{Mina was in a cell as Omen was speaking to her, Malice knew the difference in the Vaseterm behavior, what one was Judas and who was Killy.

"it's because of you.... others fell Because your to weak they try to save you and only come to a cold dark fate. your weakness that lead to Hiiro fall, it's because of you Malice is dead, he wouldn't of had a heart to break if you hadn't gave him one, and Judas...* He Chuckles Darkly*
you see unlike a Nightmare that holes no Feeling for the one they use to know because they have no heart. Judas does and it's been most entertaining, he was so excited to finally meet the one the kings pick to save the day~" he "

Malice look down, he took one of his tiny paws and rubbed his face " is it because of Mina I am to die?..." he asked quietly

Shoji shrugged " it could be" she started " I can not see the future but the Venatavis has broken two of your heart already... A Forsaking without it's Anchor Point is dead but for you and your kind the black heart are much, much more important..."

Malice remove his paw and look up at his mother with a flat expression " I already know the black hearts are what Soledormir use to spread the curse of the light Eater across the realms " he snapped bluntly.

"Yes, and didn't you tell Eira that the only way to free something from corruption is to kill it?" Shoji question with a raised brow.

Malice looked away and worked his jaw, anxiously, he didn't for say lie to the Griffin shapeshifter, he just didn't give the full details " Stop playing games.... I already know that if the hearts are broken or if I am slain without another Nightmare absorbing essence of the king the curse of the Nightmare 'dies with me'..." He looks back at the blood hair woman and gives her a harsh glare " isn't that why it is embedded in every Nightmare to desire to be king? To ensure the survival of the species?" The light Eater gave a suspicious look at the creator of his species.

Shoji rolled her eyes " yes, to some degree, but that is also why my father will have you killed when he returns" she pause " because of the /deal's/ that were made the Nightmares are stagnant... have you ever wonder why you and the other Ancients and Alphas just don't go on a corruption's spree? Or why your kind do not reproduce?... its because the population does not increase Beyond what I have written in /your/ instincts, your /contract/, this however can be Rewritten with a new king or queen, with doing that, it would make the Nightmare species what my father always dreamed of... a plague across the realms..." The mother look down at Malice with a smirk " this is just one of the reasons why Judas has been trying to keep you alive, to keep my father plan at by, but he just as much a slave as you are"

Malice listen quietly, he was going over what the daughter of Soledormir was telling and it was unnerving, he knew about something but not everything "... You are saying that no matter what I do he will have me killed because of you and what was done?" He was referring to Soledormir.

Shoji petted her son on the head " it's much, much worse than that sweetie" she said Softly, the shapeshifter then took her hand and brought it to his tiny chest and place her index finger to the middle of it, a mark reveal itself, the symbol of Soledormir
" because of my father's mark on your chest, you are one of his Forsaken, you are bounded to him in life, as a dog on a leash you /will/ do as he commands, but even if you stop the key Hunters and you do all that he commands without question, even so, ones Soledormir no longer has a purpose with you, he will take your leash and hang you by it... you seen the vision, you already know he picked /a replacement/" Shoji turned her head and close her eyes with a pain expression " but that is not all the mark dose...it not only bound you to Soledormir in life but in death... even if the candidates succeed and my father tyranny is stopped and he meants his end, you and just like the other Forsaken Lords will share the same fate..." She looked back to Mal with tears streaming down her face " Mal this is /your cursed destiny/..."

Malice didn't pull away or snap back this time when his mother touched and called him 'sweetie' he listened with a solemn expression as Shoji expecially his downfall and cursed fate under Soledormir's control, Malice look down and place a paw on his chest where his master mark was " you are saying no matter what I'm Doom to this fate? " He asked quietly, looking up at his mother, Mal grimace seen her expression, it confirmed his suspicions before she could answer, and that made him feel even more trouble.

Shoji took the back of her wrist and wiped her eyes " there the thing, I and Judas had been trying to figure out how break you from my farther control, but before my father was sealed he started to grow suspicious of me and after he was sealed I had to go into hiding...I could no longer speak with Judas in fear of my brothers and those who serve my father would find me... father never reacted well to Traders and those who try to over through him" the daughter of Soledormir said quietly looking distance in thought, because she knew what her father would do to her and those she care for... Shoji shook her head and continued" but before you had a frame Judas foreseen multiple features of yours, all leading to the same fate...you die on my father leash..." Mal mother place a hand to her forehead and had an annoyed look with a memory " that foolish boy" she started " at first I didn't believe he could still dig that deep into multiple futures, with him missing three of his six horns and without his tassels, but Judas push himself and he said he found/ one/ possible future that was different then all the others"

Malice's tail had curled around him as his mother spoke, his ears were lay back with a sober look on his face, even though he never admit it and was harsh towards her, Malice cared for his mother safety, it was not only a part of his instincts but now it was starting to more then that. The light Eater was quiet lost in his own thoughts for a moment before speaking " you say he seen a possible different future?" He looked up at Shoji " do you know what it was?" He asked looking up to his mother for any sign of hope.

Shoji remove her hand and look down at Mal " that the thing!, one moment he said, he seen you / happy / and next the idiot pulls out a dagger and cut his own horn off!" She waved her free hand and stood up. The mother of Nightmares began to Pace with Malice still setting in one hand.

Malice frowned, thinking for a moment " Judas has never been one to do things logically...if I know one thing about him it is under the heat of the moment he irrational and acts before thinking...no matter how idiotic if might be " the light Eater replied bluntly, he looked down with one of his paws to his chin, in deep thought, it still bothered him in just what it was that the Vaseterm seen in the vision. The Nightmare king and the outcast never had the same idea of what was fun or happy.

Shoji had talked her hand again and was rubbing her brow just above her eyebrows
"Ugh..." She moaned" I experience motherhood for the first time that day" the shapeshifter said rather irritated as she waved her hand and continued " I had Judas going through shock and bleeding out on the floor! "She the then pointed at Malice " and you! You we're putting anything that glow or shiny in your mouth! I didn't know what to do at that moment! "

Malice frowned he didn't remember much of what happened, he just remembered chewing on the horn Judas cut off and his mother freaking out.

" ugh, we could never figured out how to corrupt silverblood" she thinks out loud, Shoji took a deep breath before continuing " you want to know just how hard it is to get Light Eater vomit out of clothes? It's not easy! I ruined my favorite dress get you to spite what you ate out...but it was a sacrifice I would do again, at that state of your development I was for sure you would die....Thankfully I got most of it out of you, but it did still had it's side effects"

Malice had a blank expression as his mother when on about him throwing up on her dress.
He gave a look of confusion at his mother last statement " what do you mean 'side effects'?"

Shoji tip her head " you did eat a part of him, a Vaseterm horn no less" she waved a hand casually with a smirk " that is something I leaned from my father is when plans don't always go accordingly, it doesn't mean it's a failure, you just take what been given to you and put your own twist to it" she then add" except my father would do it in the most cruelest inhumane way" she said more thinking out loud. " But with what happened that night, I was able to take Judas little...uh, mishap and make something useful out of it"

Malice listen impatiently as his mother rambled " and what do you mean by that?" He asked with a low growl

Shoji smirked and place a hand under her chin " where do you think echoes came from? Hmm~" she hum

Malice curled his lip a new layer of disdain for the outcast form inside him, he was in the middle of calling Judas a not so nice name when his mother stopped him. " Don't be so hard on the court jester, he may be an idiot sometime but he has done all that he can for you and even though who will never know what he done " Shoji scolded with a disapproval frown " besides he was mostly dead, still slightly alive, but mostly dead when you try to eat his horn" she said nonchalantly

" Ugh," Malice Mound rubbing his forehead with one of his tiny paws, " this day keep getting better and better..." He said heavy with sarcasm.

" I'm sure it's a wonderful day, at least for someone" she started with an amused smirk " it's just not your day, I wouldn't expect to much out of tomorrow or the next ether " Shoji teased, then had a serious expression " but all jokes aside, your life is on the line, Mal, and this is something you can not change on your own"

Malice was quiet, he was about to reply when the world around them rippled with a purple wave of energy.
Shoji eyes widened at the site and she look down at her son " that little, mole rat" she growled aggressively. " Take your human form, and have it just like in reality " the mother of Nightmares ordered as she dropped Malice.

As The light Eater fell he bursted into a swirl of Shadows, and reform just like she told him to."Pfft, why do you have to be so tall?!" Shoji Huff, and when up to Malice and tiptoed to look at his eyes, she frowned and reached up, she took a hold of the Nightmare king by his horns on top his head and pulled his head down so he was level with her, so she could stand more comfortable

Malice grimace, he didn't have time to reply or react for that matter when his mother started to examine him " what on Earth are you doing woman? Have you finally lost your mind?" He growled, slightly hunched over so he was face to face with his mother.

Shoji didn't answer at first, she took her hands to his face and moved them around his left eye, the one that did not belong to him " I know this spell...it makes sense now" she thinks out loud, " the red dragon, Crimson, he blind now is he not?" She asked knowing the answer already and she knew that soon he dragon would be able to see what was taking place. " it is a old spell" she let go of her son and gave him a serious look " Azamuku is using you" was the message she gave to both Malice and Crimson, but she was also making a jab at both her bother and father.

Malice had a look of confusion " who is Azamuku, that is not a name I'm familiar with, and what reason is he spying on me?"

" I am surprise you don't remember..."The mother of Nightmares had a hand to her chin in thought, then looked up at her son " why he did this could be for many reasons, but one is for sure he now knows I am a live and that /you/ know it, things are moving faster then I had hoped..." her voice carried her concern, Shoji eyes were serious but fear flickered in them

"you need to return to reality, go back to the key Hunters, you should find a seal on the eye Omen give you, break it and return the eye, it was Omen who gave you the eye, as my brothers have used it for evil intentions, knowing Judas he has his hand with his own plans "

" you want me to return it?" Malice stared blankly, he was trying to process everything that had been given to him.

Shoji let out a frustrating moan "yes, yes! Now get going! You don't have all day! Quit your napping and get with it!" She took Malice by his shoulders and started to shake him frantically

Malice grimace behind shook, she was smaller than him but Shoji was powerful, the Nightmare king pulled away with a stumble," that's enough of that!" he snapped, and fixed his jacket as he stood up straight.

the dream world started to deteriorate as Malice was starting to wake up.

Shoji look up at him, tears started gather in her eyes again " stay alive Mal, I didn't make survival a strong Instinct for nothing" and with that she gave the Nightmare king a Peck on his cheek.

"UH!" Malice had a disgusted look as he frantically wiped his cheek we're his mom just kiss him.

Shoji giggled at his reaction " oh please, Mal, I know you kiss before and that was on the lips, don't be so dramatic when your mother does it on your cheek" she teases, but with that she thinks more about how much Malice has changed and why, and a sobering realization came to her " Mal..." She looked up at him with worry " it was not Judas who place that heart in you, But Omen" she place and hand on his chest as he stared to deteriorate " what ever good intentions Judas has, you know Killy only has evil desires, but what worse is the one who really behind it all, Mal he has always hated you, and the Dreamers kind"

Malice felt his Consciousness slipping as he stared to wake but he was still there enough to understand " if this heart is putting me at risk then remove it, I know you can!" He raised his voice.

Shoji shook her head " I'm only a illusion here, I can not affect your physical form" she tips her head " and would you really want me to? Do you really want to go back to how you were before having the missing emotions? To go back to hunting the candidates as Soledormir commands?" She questioned him, having a feeling she knew the answer " Mal, just be careful, a heart his a powerful and dangerous thing "

What was left of the Nightmare king was quiet, at first he wanted nothing more than to have the heart remove, but after what his mother said he almost fear it now.

As the dream world crumbled and fell apart Malice looked to his mother you don't do anything stupid and die, remember I am a creature of survival"was the last thing he said to her before the dream ended.

[ Back in the Shadow Realm ]

The Nightmare king eyes open as he awoke from his hibernation sleep, he didn't have a full plan yet, but was already plotting, Malice exit his hibernation pool he ignited himself on fire removing any of the black goo off himself, he then use his his dark magic to change his clothing back to his normal attire.

Stretching his senses, the Nightmare king found Cataclysm in the web, // hmm, the mutt back in the land of dreams // and with that Darkness consumes Malice and he teleports...

[ in a prison in an unknown location...]

deep Underground we're no Light could reach, the vampiric Nethersglade was laying bound with Chains in a sunless cell, she signed when the connection with her son was lost " so much hangs in the balance..." She starts" will your plan really succeed? Or will history repeat itself?...I do not know what your bargain was with Judas, but when you came to me with a proposition is this what you had planned?...or is it already Doom to failure? Was your sacrifice worth it? Did you buy the time needed?...Because Time is a double-edged sword, did you give the chosen candidates a Fighting Chance? Or did you only set the table for my father's return?" She looks off in the distance but her only view was the walls of her dark cell.

" Army's waits for Soledormir return and only a handful will stand against him? Those are not good odds...but perhaps luck will be on our side, they we're chosen for a reason we're they not?...they all had been gathered together since Boo started her Quest" she moved in her constraints, and gave an irritated Huff that she could not get comfortable." Even the little helpers, the blind one and the crazy fox, I Wonder about what it is that the royal will show them"

" She thinks out loud before continuing"
and was she not draw to the heir of the Dreamer Kingom? Lucky, lucky, to bad only a few even know about the Royal Dreamers" she signed " you can thank my brothers for that...."

The dark Dragon smirk, "Dreamer siblings one of life the other of death they are an amusing two, expecially when the one loss his head, Eater wasn't very nice about that, but I can't really blame him now can I? It was his instinct to do so~" she hmm in thought.

"even Mal was playing his part, he did find the human who songs can reach the ears of my children's true form..." She giggled.

" then there is the Elemental, a interesting pick but so is the lost Xanos from a different world...they worry me, my father already has his eyes on them..." She went quiet for a moment.

"then there the one who holds Serenity's dagger, so much rides in the hands of uncertain, her roll in this is one that I fear...but if it was not for her my son would not have a heart, something I never believe could happen, and even more so him fall in love with one of the candidates..." she giggled " what an odd bunch to trust the fatal the world in, we all might die but at least it's been entertaining~"
Shoji smile with the thoughts of the candidates, in her dark prison as she waited for what was to come, the candidates were something she was curious about and had hope for.

The daughter of Soledormir rest her head down on the cold floor of her cell, she thinks back to when she was writing the contract for Malice and the deals that we're made" Will order stop chaos?... " She whispered.

sleep pulled at her from using her power to speak to the Nightmare king earlier and soon she fell asleep...
