backstory: Codi was born to two loving parents, but their owner couldn’t keep Codi because her apartment could only allow two pets. (Codi was the only kitten out of a litter of seven to survive) people came to see if they wanted to take him, he had found a family who would take him. They had had him for four months when they got a dog, Codi didn’t get along with the dog and so they dropped Codi off somewhere and kept the dog. Codi was confused and wondered what he did wrong, until he was captured taken to the place where Tobias was. He was put into the cage acrossed from Tobias, he was freaking out and crying but eventually after talking to Tobias calmed down. Him and Tobias formed a close friendship and came up with Nicknames for each other, Tobias was Firefly and Codi was Mudfoot (because his fur color and pattern looked like mud splashed up his paws). One day they came up with a plan to escape using Tobias’s powers, but Codi was taken into the back room, they poked a needle into him. He screamed for Tobias to help him, but Tobias didn’t come.
