The scene is indeed from the orginal movie, but here its horizontally fliped.

Ahah... thought it looked familiar. I hesitate to watch the remake as it may very well ruin a large portion of my childhood. Must have watched the original close to 40 times. :)

Yeah, I know, what you mean.
I would hesitate too watching a remake of a movie (or a book), if I grew up with the original one.
I've seen it only a month ago or so. I feel the need to catch up on the classics a bit :)
