Queen Ashelle, daughter of Dwine, and mother of the twins. She was very ashamed of her sinister father, who went mad when she was very young. Without a king or any princes to rule, she alone was left as the remaining link in the Cascavinus line, but because she had not been chosen as ethrier, she was not crowned queen immediately following her father's death. It took years of gaining the public's favor and working for equal treatment for princesses before she was allowed absolute rule. It was thanks to her that Serena was later able to compete with her brother for the throne, though not everyone thought this was a positive result.
