Ahaha! My list could go on and on! I would like to think of myself as a connoisseur of obscjre or just downright underated anime. I have some manga I like too >3<

I would highly suggest the following anime: Mushishi. Last Exile. Non Non Biyori & Non Non Biyori [Repeat]. Star Successor Nadessico. Robotech: Macross Saga. Witch Hunter Robin. Trigun. Cromartie Highschool (This has a manga! Hard to find doh D:) Tsukikage Ran.

As far as manga go, the following are really good! I don't have many but I have some! :D

Azumanga Daioh (It has an anime that is equally as good >o<) Yotsuba&. Kurogane.

If you like horror then I reccommend any manga by Junji Ito, his work is incredible. For anime I reccommend Another, Higurashi, or Jigoku Shoujo (Hell Girl). ^-^
