Re: Glad you like it! Yeah, to be honest, the Ultras are really only there to serve as plot points or in case Maldius, Maelstrom, and Omen show up in one RP and are in desperate need of an as.s whooping. XD

Basically, they're nuclear deterrent. I won't unleash them on anything not equally OP. XD

Imagine if an Ultra had been in TDS... The battle between them, Maldius, and Maelstrom would have probably destroyed the entire world. XD

And yeah, I've currently got three separate files and counting for the RPs. I've done sessions 1 - 22 so far. It's gonna take a while. XD

Also, I plan to do a time-skip to morning in the RP, but we have to finish all other interactions first (like Sargon/Brink and Morty/Vitis/Crowley), so I'll just be killing time with Armin and Ivy until then.

Yo, I actually have some things to talk about this time!

I've been thinking a lot about Shacklestone and how I run it lately. For the last few months, we've been continuing the RP past the usual Saturday meeting in order to progress things faster. But I'm not sure anymore if this is the best way to run the RP. It feels like some people are having a hard time keeping up, and nobody really has time to roleplay during the week except for me and Aggron.

Is us continuing Shacklestone all week making things difficult for others? Would it be better if we stuck to just RPing on Saturdays, or would that be a worse thing to do? I mean, we wouldn't progress so fast, but it might make it easier for everyone to follow the story.

Let me know if you have any thoughts/opinions on the matter.

Rping any time is okay for me, I'm just......very demotivated to do anything at the moment :')
I usually just try to read through but usually when I go to reply I have to make sure of stuff
And I usually have to take a screenshot of the last to replies to that line of rp because I can't remember what was said but that's mostly because my brain is awful

Well, my main concern was that continuing the RP at all times is making it hard for everyone to keep up. It's a lot of text to read through and remember every week. I might just slow things down a little - like, only continue RPing for a few days after Saturday instead of the whole week. That might be easier.

Demotivation (is that a word) sucks. I'm taking a couple of weeks off the RP, so we won't be doing anything for a while. Hopefully you'll feel a bit better when we come back to it. :)

Also I've been really excited to do something for #TheGiftedRP but I've been holding it off because I don't think I can run two RPs simultaneously. Literally the only solution I can think of right now is to wait and hold it after Shacklestone's end, whenever that comes. XD

Yeah, taking a bit of a break will allow everyone to properly catch up and stuff, as well as figure out what to do next?
And yeah, I'm really excited too (and I've only just managed to design my characters :'))))) but I think with so many of the same people in both it'll be easier to mix the storylines up if they're running at the same time.

Well, I'm gonna think a little more about The Gifted. Unfortunately running it on a different day wouldn't really work; though I'm free Sunday nights, I don't particularly want to spend both of my weekend evenings RPing. XD

You can take your time working on your characters for it, there's no rush since as the RP might not come into existence for weeks or months. But I'll try to figure something else out.

Honestly, I think it might be a good idea to begin thinking about Shacklestone's ending soon. With Sargon's army destroyed, I think it's only a matter of time before someone captures him. It might be better to wrap things up soon, instead of dragging out the storyline for the next ten months or something.

Of course, I want to make sure everyone gets to fulfil whatever plans they have with their characters first, so it'll need some discussion. X)

Yeah! I kinda need to get Ango and that freed up so I can finish edgy Dark Brink stuff with them (and maybe make the Shacklestone universe the only/first one in which DB gets "defeated" and Morty and other proxies get freed :')))))) but that can kinda wait??? Honestly I'm not sure how to incorporate that in anymore unless DB tries to use all the dark power amassed from the war to like...take over or something, steal Sargon's plan nd that, then everyone has to kinda band together in a final thing to kick Brink out and get the White Stag over to ground him and free all the proxies
I dunno, just sorta throwing ideas out there, I honestly have no idea XD (and kinda stealing from my main The Sanctuary storyline a little but not too much oof)

Or maybe I could just leave it on the note of "Dark Brink did a thing. Mortikai was not impressed." that I was gonna go for which would imply stuff coming afterwards but the rp would finish there

I'd be up for doing that thing with DB taking over and everyone having to fight him! Though I guess it would depend on how long it takes for everything to happen. Sargon will most likely be dead pretty soon so maybe Brink tries to take over after that, when everyone thinks the war is over? I'm not sure how you'd want to do it.

If that ends up being something we decide to do, then I'll probably try to get Sargon finished off quicker than I originally planned so we can move onto the Final Battle Stage... But I dunno, we can discuss all of this as it happens.

Honestly, I'm not really fussed about how Shacklestone ultimately ends. I don't have much planned myself except a possible character death later on that might not happen anyway.

Yeah, I think I'll probably have to wait and see?? I kinda need Draco a lil to get the Doggo Squad moving (which I don't mind so much) because I need to get them somewhere so I can have Morty have A Bit Of A Realization and make Dark Brink go >:(((((((
