@Muffin> Both statements were objectively true, yet only one was regarded as insulting. This rings so true of people today that I almost get annoyed thinking about 'em.
I tend to argue that stating an objective fact shouldn't be considered offensive... "You are kinda fat" is like "Your hair is blue", but for some reason, just observing the obvious seems to set people off.
