dont worry, I didn't know him until late last year. edd is a British animator who made a web toon called "eddsworld" back in like 2004 on newgrounds then moved on to YouTube, making his channel. he made his animations about his friends going on adventures and doing weird stuff and I liked it a lot haha. sadly, in 2012, edd passed away from leukemia which he had been diagnosed with before as well. his friends decided to "keep his world spinning" by continuing the show with the help of fellow animators. they call this "edd's day" because it's the day of remember acne for edd and the day he left us.
