I have been stressing out, putting myself down & self depricating my art all day, my smile is only a lie. :D
This is related to that post i made about everyone pitching in to make a character for a comic, i will post something like that again, but only after we've decided a story.
I'll reply in the comments, so be sure to check back.
[EDIT] So, so far what i got is a well thought out story with a not useless female character & pretty boy's.
The hashtag for this is... um, idk yet.
The Colors! Gallery moderators will look at it as soon as possible.

Also, extra questions.
Should there be romance? Action? Comedy? Drama? a mixture of them?
Cute or serious.
Colored (would take longer) or traditional black & white?

Next post will be about the title.

I see way too many superhero comics out there so I would love to see one about pirates. I’m a fan of One Piece so you’ll understand. Action/Comedy with Romance as a side note. For the main character’s gender: a strong-willed female character. Black and white is fine. As for cute or serious, whatever floats your boat. Genre is Action-Adventure. As for the one panel or multi panel per post, whatever you feel comfortable with.

Action, mystery-thriller, with a touch of psychological. A strong female lead with her own demons that are not defined by any romantic interest. And a lot of gray area choices.

OH ^^^^^^ !!!!

I say give it the ol' Fire Emblem formula! Serious and dramatic. Some romance here and there! And some comedy to keep the people hooked until the action! :D

And I would not be against the main character being female. :3

Before I answer the others... MULTIPANEL. Trust me. You then have a limit of 4 panels per day and as a person with 'comics' in her username I know to keep it as probably 3-7 panels in a drawing.
And don't ask others what they want to read. If you do what others want instead of what you really want to try, you'll be less motivated. And the gender doesn't matter. Just make sure they aren't a marysue and you're good to go. For genre.... As I said, do what you want and there's a chance you'll actually finish it(I don't think I've ever finished a comic series).

Coloured or black and white... If you plan on making a lot of pages like I did with #animatedink (the older series not the remake) then black and white. I seriously overdid it with the pages. Don't make the mistake I did with making over 20 panels- However if it's 3-7 panels then colour should be fine. Just don't bother with shading unless you really want to.
Haha I'm the leader type so I love helping with this.

Also a tip that you never asked about: I find it easy to do uh chapter:page for example say I'm at a new chapter. Chapter 2. And I'm on page 4 of that chapter. I would write 2:4 in the corner. :P I'm currently doing that with Doki Doki Sakujyo.
You don't have to it's just something I like to do.

@Puppet
xD I think your misunderstanding this, i wrote a ton of comics in my smol kiddy days, but sense my teens i sorta just... stopped, i wanna get back into comic-ing. And i thought a good way to do that would be by making something with the combined efforts of the community.
I'm extremely indecisive, and couldn't decide what type of story to write. xD if i had something i really wanted to do, i'd be doing it, not here asking for story idea's.
I want to hear what the community wants because i want to get a basic idea of a story.
(If you could drop off an idea here to, i would be ever grateful)
XD Gender really does matter, it can decide a lot of factors about the book, and what type of story it is. and (depending on how you write the character) decides what type of audience you attract.

Of course not, basic rules of comics is less than 6 panels, never overdo it or else you'll end up cluttering the page.
3-5 panels is a good number, and being imaginative on how you place the panels can help tremendously. (tho i'm bad at that)
Hmm, i might do that, i've never had problems keeping track of the chapters before, but it honestly sounds like a great way to keep organized, so, i'ma likely do that to.
:y thank you tho, my planned career is comics/manga, so i've studied the heck out of this sort of thing on multiple occassions.

@everyone
xD full votes so far are on a female lead i see, i'ma add something to the desc.

FUUUUUUUCK NOT THE ANIME BOOOOOOYS

I also love a good dark conspiracy. I second Dossu's suggestion xD Complexity really makes a story, as long as you only make it as complex as you're comfortable with. The simplistic opening is a great way to contrast, and to "wow" the reader with a pandora's box type of twist. Also, romance is always good, because who doesn't love shipping xD But as sort of a relief to ease off the more serious aspects, not a story focus. That makes it feel more natural, and less pressured. It also leaves the reader wanting more >:)
Sorry if I'm bad at explaining ":)

@Deku, That was perfectly explained, i understand exactly what you mean.
I have a base-ish story in my head, now i just need to think.
13 Mar, 2018, 9:08 pm
Oooh. Good idea. Also I'm not like "ugh I wrote all of that for nothing" since I love typing. lol
Well if that's the case, thennn... I love a mix of comedy, romance and drama(which is what Doki Doki Sakujyo((my comic)) is) Oh yeah kill off characters we get attached to. It hurts a lot more reading that than it is drawing it, so it'll really get us hurt but a good hurt. lol That's kinda how I keep peoples attention to certain stories. hhh I've answered only 1 question with all of this... I'm obsessed with languages(I'm learning French and Mandarin Chinese) which is probably why I do this.
Andddd... Girl. There's a lot of guys and lesbians who will think "w a i f u." And then the straight girls will just relate. I don't know if straight girls usually think "husbando" as much as guys think "wai- Wait what am I talking about? I've seen the comment sections under fanfiction it's scary and mostly girls-
Uh... Well in my opinion, a woman or nonbinary. Something fun with nonbinaries is that

I ANSWERED 2 QUESTIONS WITH ALL OF THAT WHY AM I MAKING COMICS I SHOULD BE A FREAKIN' AUTHOR
13 Mar, 2018, 9:17 pm
Something fun with nonbinaries is that when you get fanart, some people will draw them feminine while others do masculine. You kinda see the creative side of others.(I had that with a group-account mascot thing, which was a human loaf of bread. Don't ask-)
Oh I said genre for the first question ummm... Well circling back to the first question, (just deleted an entire paragraph because these are stupidly long) I think it'd be cool to see what it's like for the parents of a magical girl. In magical girl anime, they're so oblivious but they don't show them being like "...I never bought her this stuffed animal... Where did this stuff come from- And why do her only friends have colourful hair? Why does she gasp at the window and randomly disappear??? yo wt.f this is 100 percent the work of satan"
13 Mar, 2018, 9:17 pm
I love how I made something so long and just ended it with "yo wt.f this is the work of satan" lol
13 Mar, 2018, 9:23 pm
oh and do serious with a sprinkle of cute
