Niironox Homeworld - Niirawxzah by SilverSpirits

@FadingGlory wanted more on the Niironox, specifically their homeworld, so here we go!
-
This is their home world Niirawxzah
(Pronunciation: Near-raw-cks-zah)

They share this world with mostly humans, there are regular animals (like deer, moose, wolves, squirrels, etc...)

Humans started hunting down the Niironox many, many years ago and it proved no easy task for many of those years. Eventually humans learned to target expectant mothers or young, greatly dwindling the Niironoxes population.

Even the Guardians for the Niironox were greatly dwindled and in current years, are thought to be extinct. Tobias and Slate are the only two left.

The Niironox evolved overtime, learning to take on a smaller, humanoid form and eventually they learned to disguise themselves as completely human (in appearance, not always behavior or strength). The Niironox have always been physically stronger and faster than humans, even disguised.

The main Capital City on the map is highly advanced in technology, they have large walls protecting their city and splitting off the districts. The closer to the Palace, the more wealthy and better off the citizens are.

The lower districts usually struggle to make ends meet and are forced to go on outings to other cities/towns. Not many make it back, the lucky ones however get positioned on the walls to protect them.

Niironox don't typically venture to the walls in their true or humanoid form, no one really wants to pick spears or darts from their butts. Some do get brave or stupid, depending on how one sees it and will test the boundaries. Usually these fools end up goners.

(Weapon wise, the humans aren't too advanced, usually relying on bows and arrows or spears, etc...)
-
The rocks on the West side of the world are the sky stone pillars (There's thousands of them, all shapes and sizes). They cut across half the world, humans don't usually venture up them, so Niironox will typically play and train there.
-
****Red outlines indicate where Niironox live and thrive and where humans rarely ever step foot*****
-
The dark swirling island is where Death and Darkness Niironox variants usually lurk. Living and dwelling in the shadows. No human is stupid enough to wander onto that island, it's usually inevitable death there and sunlight doesn't usually ever pierce the dark fog covering it. Meaning the island is fairly cool in temperature.
-
The island in the far bottom left corner is a volcanic island, where fire, magma and other Niironox who like heat live. It's uninhabitable for humans, since it's always blistering hot and lava is constantly dripping off the island into the waters below, making them beyond scalding hot.
-
The two dark green islands in the center of the world are usually inhabited by any Niironox looking to safely raise young, the islands are perfect for birthing and raising young. Humans do sometimes go there, but it's not likely. The jungles are enormous and thick on these islands, most humans get lost, though they typically don't live that long once they reach the shore of these islands.

To the top of the world map, we have the arctic, deserts and more jungle. Also beaches!

Humans overtime spread out and drove most Niironox away from these places, even the icy cold arctic (That doesn't mean some Niironox don't still live there, they do). Despite having multiple towns in the arctic, people struggle to survive there, not just from the elements, but also because the Niironox absolutely hate them.
-
The jungles on this upper continent, are still large and people can get lost. But it's not as bad as the middle islands, the jungles are less dense and less filled with Niironox.
-
On the bottom continent (where the Capital is located), the light yellowish/cream color are prairies, flat and stretching out for miles. It was one of the first places humans drove the Niironox away from and they've kept it for thousands of years so far.
-
That's all I can think of for now! I might do some more information later if anyone is interested. Let me know if there's something particular, about Niironox, you'd like to know about!

Ahhh so awesome!! I love how the map works, and reading about the chemistry between humans and Niironoxes is fascinating! Great job! <3

I feel like the humans would have invented bear traps on a scale proper for Niironoxes
