I saw a pic of a draft horse on tumblr and I thought "that would make a good ref for zaffre". So I drew zaffre using the pic as an off-screen ref.

Also, this is the first pic of him with his cutie mark!

I rather like him with a larger frame, I think I may draw him like this from now on.
