Stella Rosenburg has always been a strange child. From birth, she's had pink eyes and a red patch of hair on the right side of her head. While most assume she dyed it, it's not exactly natural. Furthermore, from birth, she's had an extra person in her head; Her mythical beast, Dolorus. He'd feed her advice and a never ending commentary on current events her whole life. Because of just how dominant his voice is in her head, she often speaks to him out loud, unfortunately causing everyone around her to think she's schizophrenic, including her family. For years, she's gone through countless treatments and medications, all doomed endeavors, as Stella isn't really sick. This has, unfortunately, had adverse effects on her, causing her to suffer from depression due to the poor treatment by her family. Also, most of the medications repress her personality, allowing Dolorus to take a higher degree of control over the host, and he is far less agreeable than Stella. To help herself cope, Stella plays guitar, as it takes her focus off of her crumby life and occupies her with something creative and self expressive.

The hybrid form, known as Stellarus, is a mix of both Stella and Dolorus, both physically and mentally. She sprouts wings and a tail,her eyes become black and red, she obtains claws, gains a few inches, and her red hair turns to feathers. She's also gains a substantial boost to her physical strength and the ability to fly. While she can't sustain flight for too long, it makes a great method of escape. Upon assuming this form, Stellarus gains magical abilities. These are just watered down spells from Dolorus. Because Stellarus is only half Dolorus, she doesn't have access to everything. The spells at her disposal are Decay and Become Ethereal. Decay works exactly as it sounds; The caster uses their energy to break down organic matter through physical contact. This spell only works with skin-to-skin contact. With become Ethereal, the caster becomes a smokelike mass to avoid harm. However, due to the high energy consumption of this spell, it cannot be sustained for long and Stellarus will become exhausted after a single use.
