Here we have Chris' rival, Rohn. At first, after losing to Chris and learning of his secret powers, he grew a bit irritated because he believes that Chris cheated with feelings of arrogance and egotiscism against the boy, but after being saved of being possesed and resolved the misunderstanding,, both started to get along greatly well. He's interested in Chris' litle journey, but decided to part ways "for now" to train stronger and battle the boy once in a while, but it seems there are deeper reasons of why he challenges Chris regularly each time he visits a different region.
Also yes, his partner is a female Zorua, later evolving into Zoroark, she is tomboyish, likes to mess around with Rohn and Chris once in a while with her powers of illusion, and is empathetic with the concept of companionship towards mates.
