Apologies for spamming. Just sorting through my dump folder ATM and deleting/uploading when I have a little time. Got some other stuff to break up the plein air so hopefully won't get too boring. Looking to be on top of stuff for my personal 10 year anniversary with Colors! on April 13th.
Can't remember what day the 13th was on back in 2008, but this year it's on a Friday. Luckily I'm not supersitious! O_O
The Colors! Gallery moderators will look at it as soon as possible.

Well I always love seeing your plein air stuff so at least I don't mind the spam :D
Btw I've been wondering, do all of these look like a rainy day on purpose or is it just for texture?

Erm... I've played around with the scribbling quite a lot for a number of years now. I always tend to keep my hand moving (sometimes to detriment, hehe), but initially exploring abstract painting (possibly 2010 on DS?) just set something off. Messy, eager, impatient, fun. Two previous uploads (not this one, IIRC) were done when my mom was in hospital and I just drove to the coast in the morning to try and find where my head was at, and then drove back later for visiting hours. I guess I was very stressed, so maybe it intensified the scribbles/hand movement? I don't know.
Actually, I hadn't even thought about it in any real sense until you asked. Just scribble, scribble. I obviously note the difference, but haven't questioned it because I've messed around with the notion of quick hand gestures for so long.
Wow. Thanks for asking that particular question. You've got me thinking about a lot of stuff now.
Regards

I don't mind the spam, please keep 'em coming!
I really like the scribble effect in your recent works, makes it look like it was painted on some rough sandpaper-like surface!

Wow--10 year anniversary? It reminds me that the first time I posted on Colors I was but a wee young lad in the 5th grade hoping to make something like your 3ds demo paintings on day one. Not quite!
But seeing that you can make these with relative ease, I think they could make a sweet animation scene--i.e. a guy in an old fighter jet flying above the fields or something like that. Maybe an opening scene of a car driving through an English countryside. My favourite spam of the day by far, though
