By having strong light-magic inherited by her mum, Seraphine became 'the chosen one,' destined to sacrifice herself into a volcano to end all Shuni. She ends up falling in love with Fai, and her anxiety for sacrificing herself increases over time- however, she's very caring and bubbly, and has hope in everyone, even when she shouldn't.
