Claudiesa cast her gaze all around at people going to and fro. She nodded, everything was going well. She turned toward the wood platform and started making her way to it. As Hostess of festivities in the capital it was her job to officially announce the start of the festival.

Lumen was walking the Festival Grounds of the town square with a box wrapped in green and white parchment in his arms. Its bow glinting with a pink hue as the sunlight bounced off of it. His walk was well paced as he Enjoyed the bountiful scent of decadance ebbing through the spring breeze.

"Ah, what a lovely day.....Perfect for such an occassion."

As Lumen continued to stroll, he saw Prima standing alone. It seemed she was confused about something. With box in hand, he approached in his unusually silent stride toward Prima, a smile on his face as he did so.

The festival for the most part seemed to have started, Odin stood waiting, waiting for a potential announcement or greeting before he went to the cooking.

Claudiesa mounted the platform with Serrice in tow. As the crowd of people quieted, she spoke.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, Lets give a big cheer and make this one hell of a festival! To start things off, the chocolate making tents are set, go have fun and impress that special someone with your chocolate!"

(Mmm, I see. I got low once. Its not fun. But I have found that the best way to cope with it is to do something fun. Get your mind off things you know? And none of us here are judging, so why not have some fun? We're all friends here. :D I'm wanting to roleplay with ya anyway. Its been awhile! ^0^)

She paused and added, "This platform is now at the use for anyone who wants to use it. And to all you future husbands out there, good luck!"
After some cheering and hooting, she decended the platform.

Lumen on his way to Prima overheard the announcement. The bellowingly imposing female voice could only have been sourced from none other than the Leader of Vepura: Claudiesa.

After the announcement, Lumen made it the rest of the way to Prima. Gently, he tapped her shoulder to get her attention. With a smile, he bowed to her in greeting. His hands and his gift were behind his back as he did so.

They made it to the chocolate tents for the girls. Claudiesa spotted a free table for them, it was filled with an array of ingredients to use.

Kirena smiled softly "Sure, I wouldn't mind making chocolate with you"

Onyx’s ears perked at hearing that the chocolate tent is open. “Chocolate?!?! I don’t know what that is but it sounds like something to eat!!!” He quickly ran for the chocolate tent like a madman.

Max patted Ikios and watched as the dragon flew away. “Okay. Let’s see what this festival is about.” He walked toward the center of the festival.

Cat shrugged and walked toward the chocolate tent. “Good thing, I have a sweet tooth.”

Lumen flushed as he was embraced by Prima. Even though he was used to his and Prima's relationship, it was often hard for him to keep his composure when being hugged or kissed by her. It seemed he had a weakness to affection. He hugged back a moment after his brief moment flustering.

"P-Prima! I am glad that we can share this occassion together. Vepura, believe it or not, is an extremely romantic place. And their festivals are often celebrating love or war. Sometimes both at once."

Lumen laughed as he pulled his present up in front to show Prima.

Claudiesa took the bowl Serrice profered to her and the butter.
She began to mix the the butter and powder together resulting in a soft mixture.

"Me to. Tis is the season of love and romance, i'm quite looking forward to today." Prima stopped short and stared at the box Lumen held before her. "Whats this?"

Claudiesa nodded, "I see."
She stirred the mixture until it looked about right.
As she put the mixture into the water she noticed one of the random ingredients on the table to flavor the chocolate was a few peppers.

Lumen bowed his head bashfully down before raising his head to reply. As he spoke, he looked out into the distance and spoke in a theatrical manner. Trying to fight his nervousness as he did so.

"W-well....Tis a gift! A gift for you Fair Lady Prima! In the hope that it pleases thou!"

Returning his gaze to Prima, he bowed his head once more as he laughed at his not-so good theatrical delivery.

She added the finely diced peppers to the chocolate mixture and stirred it. "I like spicy food, it's common staple for Vepuran dishes to be hot." she said leisurly.

"Your gift will be the exquisite portrait you paint! In a way, this gift is a gift to both of us. I am truly anxious to see how you portray me in the painting. And if it is anything on par with that sketch of me you made awhile ago....I am sure I will enjoy it!"

Claudiesa nodded enjoying the chocolate making process. She peered around the table and saw an ice chest off to the side. She pulled it close. "Here we go." she said as she opened the chest revealing several ice blocks.

Kawatta was miandering around when he spotted his adoptive dad Haruko. He jumped up in the air as he saw him buying chocolate but, he was sidetracted by a ravishing young hybrid woman tossing out bags of goodies to random passerby.
Kawatta managed to catch one as it was thrown his way. He watched the hybrid woman walk away into the crowd of people adjacent to him. He let out a long sigh.

"Haaaaa......"

Kou walked into the party, viewing the area for the snack table. He was holding a bottle that had a ribbon tied around it. The bottle contained an Iclios alcohol named Bottled Dusk. The pink-ish purple-y color was beautiful to say the least. The Bottled Dusk is traditionally served during romantic occasions. The alcohol had been aging in the cellar for fifteen years. After setting down the bottled dusk, he set down a tray of cheese crackers and apples.

Claudiesa did the same chuckling in turn.
They waited several minutes. "Are they done, you think?" she asked curiously.

Kawatta was smiling goofily while hugging his bag of candies he recieved tightly. Some of the softer sweets, (Specifically the chocolate truffles) were now squished out of their wrappings and staining the outside of the gift bag. Absent-mindedly he started to walk toward where the hybrid woman went. He managed to suppress his split personality out of shear adoration for the random stranger.

"S-she is....S-she...S-she....Is...."

At the very moment, his split personallity awoke. And it voiced it thoughts while also finishing Kawata's sentence.

"Hawt."

He had also set down wine glasses, which had illustrated cherry blossoms, with their pedals flowing, making the shapes of hearts. Kou picked up a glass, and poured the Bottled Dusk. He sipped it, delighted by the sweet, ever so slight minty hint of flavor that was so good, that when he swallowed, he simply had to take another sip.

Claudiesa left a tag on the chest showing it was in use and with Serrice following next to her they made their way to the snack table.
"Ah, seems Kou was able to make it."

Eventually, after minute or two of searching. Kawatta spotted the strikingly beautiful hybrid woman. She was passing out new sweets.

"Aha! See!? There she is! Lookit'er! Ain't she perty!?"

Kawatta replied to himself as Sou.

"Yeah......I-I mean! Ahem! She is elegantly gorgeous. But, your chances with her are slim. Me on the other hand....I have a rather high chance I think."

Huffing in anger, Kawatta pounded the sand with his foot.

"Like hell ya do! That gal is my type! Which means ah'm her type!"

Shaking his head violently, Kawatta growled at himself in his Sou voice.

"That doesn't make any sense and you know it. She is way to sophisticated anyway. In other words....Out of your league."

Kawatta grit his teeth a retorted back at himself. At this point, the traffic of people started eyeing him inquisitively. Trying not to look rude, they would quickly avert their eyes.

"She wouldn't be interested in you! Sofishticatted women can smell trash a mile away!"

Onyx suddenly had someone land on top of him slamming him into the floor. “Oooouuuuucccccch!!!!! Get your ass off of me, you dumb nut!!!!!”

Cat, noticing the commotion, flings her arms in the air and leaves for home.

"Ah, these kinds of occasions are hard to resist. I would like to compliment you on the party, Lady Claudiesa, you went all ou-" he was interrupted by the commotion of Haruko and Onyx.

Onyx gets up and rubs his back. “Man, I don’t know what you’re talking about, but next time watch where you’re going!!!”

[Everyone at table]

Claudiesa paused in the middle of her next sentence as she saw the commotion. She came up to the two offering her hand to Haruko."Are you two alright?"

After awhile of arguing, Kawatta noticed the hybrid woman had departed.

"Craaaaaap! She's gone! Look'it what you did Sou!"

Frantically looking back and forth for the hybrid woman, he replied to himself as Sou.

"Never mind that! I'll shut up if you will just concentrate on finding het!"

Kawatta nodded with determination.

"Aye Aye Sou! The search begins!"

Searching all over the festival, Kawatta tired himself out. But his determination kept driving him. And finally, at long last he spotted her. Her fox ears perked up and tail swaying in enjoyment of her current treat. She was at the snack table eating a finely baked pastry.

"YES! Finally ah've found you!.....Now what?....."

(Everyone near the snack table)

Onyx raised an eyebrow at the lady with the helmet on and replied, “Considering I just had someone land on my back and slammed me into the ground, my back is sore but I’ll be fine.”

[Everyone]

Claudiesa looked at Haruko. "Don't beat yourself up any further it was an accident, and you're welcome. Name's Claudiesa."
She turned to Onyx. "Good to know no one was severly injured."

Looking at them both she said, "Let us take part in the snacks shall we?"

Kou picked up a glass and poured the alcoholic beverage.

"Drink?" He held the glass to the three of them, having already set down his own glass and pouring into another.

[Claud, Ony, Haruk]

Claudiesa watched Haruko rush off to some teenager he spotted.
She put two and two together. "Must be his kid." she said chuckling lightly.

She turns and sees Kou offering a glass and took it. "Some of your home brew?"

Staring for longer than socially acceptable at the Fox Hybrid,
Kawatta turned his head toward the direction his father's voice harked from. He waved frantically at him and smiled.

"Hi papa! Huh? What am Ah' doin? Oh, Ah'm stalkin a girl! Why ya ask?"

Kawatta occasionally glanced over at the hybrid, who was sitting down. Talking to what appeared to be a male DragonKnight.

Onyx simply waves. “I’m Onyx Darkfire. Forgive me if I don’t bow. Considering my back still aches. I’m a Necromancer from Iclios.”

He then picked up a cracker and bit into the crispy salty party favor.

"Soooooo.....What yer sayin' is that Ah' could start doin' stuff with a random fish in a pond if I knew'em well enough?....."

Tugging on his pants with his hands in gesture, Kawatta shook his head.

"Oh don't sweat that papa! Ah'm wearin' underwear like ya told me! Ya know, becuz'a the balcony incident....Ya know, the time when all them peoples were visitin' N shtuff...."

Claudiesa snatched a macaron and sipped the alcohol, eyeing Onyx over the edge of the glass.
"This is quite good. Considering Iclios's state i'd believe that."

Onyx groaned and suddenly clutched his head in agony. “Uuuuuugggggh, I feel crap awful......”

Kawatta nods. A confused expression still completely frozen on him.

"Ah see.......So defin'er'tely do it with someone ya know.....And if they agree. Got it!........But wait, what if their ugly?.....Or somethin' Ah' raised from the dead?....."

Smiling widely, Kawatta shook his head yes.

"Nope! I havn't! Buuuuut, ah've been washin' em everyday in the sink with the dishes when Ah'm doin' chores!"

"Age has nothing to do with it you simply don't have the tolerance for it built up yet. But for now avoid alcohol."
She picked up a glass and poured water into it then poured a bit of cream in as well and then a spoonfull of sugar. She stirred it and held it out to Onyx.
"Here drink this."

Onyx took the glass and gulped it down. “Oooh. That feels much better. This is a really bad way to celebrate a festival. Besides, that bit about necromancy? I only raise the dead when I want the bad guys to leave me alone.”

"Ah see....Stay away from creepy people.....Got it......Huh? Nah! That ol' lady ain't ugly! She's just old! More like Bretta from the pastry sho-I meaaaan....Yeah, no des'craminatin' against ugly people....."

It started as a snicker, but then it became all out laughter. Kawatta got his composure and replied.

"Nah! Wouldn't even think of it. Most dead bodies aren't very sightly anyway. Plus, their rotten and falling apart at the waist N shtuff. So nopes, none 'O that."

Kawatta then smiles triumphantly as if he did some super responsible.

"Ah' did two chores at once! Ah' cleaned the dishes aaaaaand my underwear! Its called Dish-Landerin!"

Kawatta looked surprised at what Haruko said.

"Huh?! Really?! Ah' thought the nice smellin' stuff that gets poofy cleaned everythin! Ah' mean if cleans dishes, shouldn't it clean undies too?...."

Revelation dawned on his face. He was sure he understood.

"Ah' guess yer right.....Ah' will make sure never to tell her what ah' think. Promise!"

Kawatta stared at the floor for a moment before speak.

"Hmmmm......So the underwrar germs and dish germs team up and beat the poofy stuff......That makes sense......They've formed an empw'ire to conquer cleaniness!.......Ah' guess that explains the rashes......"

Kawatta waved his hand nonchalantly.

"The rashes are no problem! Ah've got worse ones from the leaves Ah' used to use for wipin' back when Ah' was all on my lonesomes in the wild! Before that was de-needled cactus peices....And so on. But yeah, bout uhhh......Well Ah'm not so good with the math stuff, but Ah am guessin' maybe a week'er two?...."

With the shake of his head back and forth meaning ' 'No,' ' he spoke.

"The point of stalkin' some is to look. Its the cowardly alternative to talking........Furthermore.....Ah' haven't had much good with the ladies as far as datin'.....So I prefer to watch'em from afar....."

Claudiesa folded her arms. "One of two things will occur-he'll either puke in a few minutes or he'll begin to feel better after a few hours." she explained to Kou.

Kou folded his arms. "Hmm...." he said, raising a brow.
"We'll just have to sit back and wait for a reaction, I suppose." He said, then scratching the top of his head.

Onyx: *rolls eyes* Seriously? I’ve never had a stomach problem my whole life so why would I start having them now? *his head starts spinning and suddenly he went green and threw up all over his shoes*

"I figured as much. 80 percent of the time people puke but they recover quicker that way."
She grabbed a handkerchief from a stack on the table and offered it to Onyx.

"..."
Kou looked to Claudiesa.
"Guess we got a negative in this situation..."
Kou thought for a moment.

"Do we have eggs?" He said, rubbing his chin.

[Kou/Onyx]

"I wouldn't necessarily say negative. Puking does get it out of the stomache."
She turned to Kou and asked, "Yes, got a drink in mind?"

"Perhaps, however puking is not very enjoyable, to say the least. I was wondering, because, yes, I indeed have a drink in mind. I may be able to speed up the process."

Onyx takes the handkerchief and wipes his mouth. “Uuuuggggggh. Now I really feel like dragon crap.”

[Kou/Onyx]

Claudiesa looked sidelong at Kou and replied, "Neither is being hungover."
She unfolded her arms. "What he needs is something to clear the senses. What do you need for your concoction?" she put her hand on her hip in question.

She looked at Onyx. "Don't worry we'll have back up on your feet. just hold tight." she said with confidance.

"Hmmm.... i'll need some lemon juice... you have salt, too, correct? I'll need some of that. Once we have those we'll continue." He said.

Onyx nods really slowly and dropped a tiny claw on the ground. All of a sudden, a skeleton bird pops out of the ground and lands on his head, snuggling into his hair.

Claudiesa glanced at the stuff on the table. It was amply supplied with various snacks and the like that would satisfy any stomache.
"All of that should be present on this table. Ah, here we go." she held up salt and pepper shakers in one hand and a slice of lemon in the other.

"Thank you,"
He said, taking the salt and lemon.
He grabbed a tall glass, and squeezed the lemon.
"Hmmm, I'll need more..."
He grabbed and squeezed more lemon, until it was a third full. He then dashed a small bit of salt into it.

"Hmmm. .. I'll need an egg."

He grabbed an egg and cracked it, dropping the contents into it. "Now some orange bitters......."
He then put four dashes into the beverage.
He proceeded to put hot sauce into it. The beverage was now starting to brown in color, and it wasn't looking particularly delicous.
He then put in a few teaspoons of sugar.

(Oh, hi hype, welcome welcome! ^♡^)

After a few other strange ingredients, it was all finished with the rest of the glass being filled to the top with Gin.

"Now for a quick stir..."

He grabbed a spoon and stirred, the egg, spinning, the sauce completely mixing with the lemon juice, and the sugar disolving.
"Finished!" He said, carrying the glass.

[Kou/Onyx/Aludra]

Claudiesa raised an eyebrow under her helm at the hybrid. "You're not the first person to point that out."
She nods at Onyx and Kou's direction. "They're from out of country, I'm the leader of Vepura. Names Claudiesa."

Claudiesa turned as Kou announced finishing his disgusting looking concoction. She turned to Aludra,"your just in time for something strange."

Kou handed the concoction to Onyx.

"That should definitely help you. Many people, I included, have tasted this during a hard time. It has been without fail, everytime I've seen it in use, or made it myself.
Here you go."

(Claudiesa/Kou/Aludra)

Onyx eyed the concoction suspiciously and drains it. “Uuuuuugggggggggh!!!!” His body shook for a moment and then he suddenly jumped back to his feet. “Whoa!! That stuff makes me feel like I just got struck by lightning!”

Guys, I’m tired and I’m about to fall asleep so I’m going to bed.

"Vepuran leaders aren't thought of as royalty but as a general so it's not too uncommon for a leader to be out and about in public."
She chuckled lightly. "I'm not surprised. Depictions often are a bit off."

they both turned and watched Kou offer the concoction to Onyx.

Kou crossed his arm again.
"How do you feel?"

Onyx: Like I got shocked by lightning and got sent into the stratosphere!! *grins* I guess I really needed that!!!!

Claudiesa smiled under her helm and crossed her arms. "Good."
She looked at Kou with approval. "Seems your concoction was a success."

"Well, I guess it worked. To be perfecty honest I'm not surprised in the least."

Kou picked up his own glass and took a sip of his Dusk.

[Kou/Aludra/Onyx]

Claudiesa's ears twitched at that information. "Ah, you know Amai then. Bright woman there."

She looked back at Aludra to answer her question. "You could say that. Kou I've known for a while, Onyx we both just met recently today."

[Claudiesa Aludra]
"Yes, well, it's a useful thing to have memorized."

He finished his glass, and poured the Bottled Dusk into it, refilling the empty glass with the beautiful Lavender-y color.

[Kou/Aludra]

"Don't hog all the alcohol, Kou." she said jokingly as she held out her own glass for a refill.
"Do you want a glass?" she asked Aludra.

After Kou finished pouring the Dusk, he then poured some into claudiesa's. He held up the bottle, glancing at Aludra, gesturing to whether she wanted some.

Claudiesa let out a big laugh. "No we're not lovers. Though..." she paused for a moment then continued, "there was someone I was interested in a while back but they fell in love with someone. I didn't actually get a chance to tell them what I thought." She lifted her helm to take a glug of the Dusk and said in a lighter tone, "But more will come."

Kou finished pouring the Dusk into the glass and handed it to Aludra. " No, we are not lovers, just two leaders that know eachother." Kou sipped from his glass.

[Kou/Aludra]

Claudiesa shook her head to both possibilities. "No, he's a hybrid actually."

"My name is Kou." He said taking yet anither sip.

Claudiesa gave Aludra a really long look. "You're messing with us, aren't you?" she drained the rest of her drink then added, "I'm not hot in this armor, in fact I where it everyday. As for Kou's bandage, it's a cultural thing in his country."

Claudiesa shook her head in amazement at how direct Aludra can be. "Your scenarios probably scare most people."
She looked at the sweets lining the table. "I honestly hadn't the chance to eat any yet. So far I've only had alcohol." she picked up a cookie with red sugar on top.

(oo I realize Amai would be showing signs of baby since it's been almost 2 months oml)
Amai currently dressed in a more leisurely attire than usual strolled the festival grounds. She was actually surprised she was able to make it to this type of event given her condition and the stress of traveling. But she wanted to make it for a particular person, who much to her dismay she couldn't find. Amai sat at a near by bench and looked around for a moment or two before spotting a familiar red head not to far from her. "Aludra! " She called out hoping it wasn't a complete stranger who she mistook as her friend.

"Well hello to you too." She laughed as she happily accepted the hug from Aludra. Amai pushed up her glasses. "I missed you too Aludra. I've been pretty good considering certain things" she lightly patted her stomach in a loving manner. "You still owe me a door you know." She said somewhat serious before laughing "A jest." She dialed down her laughter "How are you dear Aludra?" Amai's tail wagged happily.

"Ah you mean this?" She smiled "it's not too noticeable now but give. It another month and it'll be very noticeable." She waved Aludra off a bit with her hand "I was only joking about the door though Krishna might still be a bit sore" she giggled to herself. "That's good. You still need to introduce me to the 'misses' of yours." Her ear twitched a bit "Meeting new people seeing new and old faces that's the joy of any festival. It's a time to forget most things and just have fun-" she caught herself mid sentence "ahh I'm over analyzing it as I usually do, I've been trying to not over think things recently as per my doctor's orders, says it stresses me out." She sighs and looks at Aludra again "Well of course it's the main reason why I'm here and w-well I wanted to surprise Krishna but he's not here it seems.. anyways I've been craving no dying to try some Vepuran chocolate for the longest time."

"So he is here?" He tail wagged more. "I shall hold you to that now, haha" upon hearing Aludra talk about the chocolate Amai nodded excitedly and her tail was wagging very quickly now "Yes please. Ahh where would it be located though.. I heard you had to make the chocolate yourself."

"okay lead the way." Amai followed behind Aludra. "I'm quite glad they have enchanted chocolates. Making things from scratch I can't really do... Though magic I'm pretty sure I can do that" she smiled happily. "So Aludra besides seeing and meeting new people what else have you been up to hm?"

"w-wait is he at the chocolate making booth?" She seemed really happy "Now I really can't wait." Her ears perked up as Aludra spoke more "Trying to find yourself, or figuring out who you are. They sound the same but in practice and theory are very different things. With that being said, I'd say you're trying to figure out who you are. So yes it does make sense. " She cleared her throat as she realized she was rambling "So what have you been researching?" She peered up to her.

Amai almost immediately picked up his scent faintly but didn't want to dart after him leaving Aludra, so she did her best to control her urges. "Well you never sounded crazy to me before so why now?" She giggled "hmm, it's normal to feel separated from something that you haven't been in touch with for a very long time especially when it comes to yourself. It may feel foreign now but take a spiritual walk and try and find your roots I bet you will reconnect with it almost instantaneously. Speculation depending on the circumstances could be the only proof you have at this time so I say go off on that proof and experiment or in your case explore your memories and thoughts."
