concept bio:
As the village of Tarri was beginning, some of the creatures in the area became confused and upset, as few have very welcoming feelings towards humans. The people of Raines and Laybourn were long gone and barely any of the creatures wanted to face a human again. However, the people of Tarri still needed something to sustain them and they went hunting in a smaller forest a small ways off from Ni'rr. A group of animals, one of them including Ouray, happened to be spotted. Angered by the people's disrespect, he tried to save the others, and thus received his wounds. The people called the hunt done, not realizing that a certain dog of theirs had gone with the creatures into the dark forest.. From there Ouray died, but the forest of Ni'rr always takes the chance to curse any creature it comes across. This also caused Roul, the dog from Tarri, to be cursed as well, since he was injured by the creatures' panic. Whenever Ouray comes across Roul in the large, dark forest, the trees echo with a deep growl and the two separate. Ouray means very well and tries to act as a guide, protecting innocent travelers from the dangerous spirits that lurk in the wood. He makes a circular trip around the edge of the forest, which takes about 2 days for a full loop. Some inhabitants of Raines share stories about how they caught a glance or up-close look of him and he is thought to be Ni'rr's area guardian.

i just really love the design, it's super creative while also having a natural feel, which is what i strive for in many of my own characters. i feel he would be a nice addition to my roster of characters and he would definitely play a good part in Vriodel's lore.
