In Von clan ever 500 years a child is born with blue hair and a blue slit eye with yellow rings, it doesn't matter what eye it is, or if the child is boy or girl, from a magic or no magic family, peasant or noble, it is believed to happen at random.
The one born with the blue eye is typically shunned and feared by the tribe and they call them 'Renashin'
The child born a Renashin is forced to where a mask to hide there eye and it's mark to show what the child is.

Von was pretty lucky been born as a Chiefs son, and that his father does still love him, His father had a private tutors to school and teach Von how to use Magic and other skills.

Even though he was the Chiefs son, Von was still shunned, feared by the village and lock up as a kid at times because of that.
if he was not from the family he was Von would have likely been abandoned ( they don't kill the child born with the eye and hair because then another child would be born with the eye )

Outside of Von village there are other Renashin, but of different colors, yellow, red, Orange, green, purple, white, black and grey, Von is Blue
