Cadeo eyed them suspiciously, but kept his ears open to the rest of the crew.
Idle simply stood by nervously.

Madelyn: "Yeh, nightmares. I hate em."

Roux: "Hmm, I think I'll use my razor ropes today." *unwraps them from her waist* "I'm glad I sharpened them yesterday."

Astoria's eyes widens when he hears the last part "That does sound interesting" He coughs and regain his composure to not sound too interested "Ahem... And uhh... Can we assume that any of these particular creatures is capable of speech?"

Just as the ships were approaching the castle grounds a dark figure was standing near it, a dark energy emitting from it's head. The ships were forced to jerk to a stop, knocking some off balance. The figure turned around, the dark energy now turning into what looked like antlers. He flinched as the ship approached.
"Hm...?" He looked towards the top to see Asher waving from the side. "Oh..... Asher... and others.... Did I not make it clear to stay away from the castle...?" He said.
"Sorry Reve, but we can finally enact our plan with a slim chance of success!" Asher said.
"Oh.... Did you even tell them the plan....?"
"...No.... but I will." Asher laughed nervously.
"...." Reve gave a small pout, obviously annoyed. "Well, I've been eating the ones that have been incoming. They come in every other month in a group.... However the ones already bunched together will most likely eat you alive but they're the only ones we can take since they've become clearer in what they want..."
Asher nodded, "Alright everyone. "We'll have to provoke and sandwich a group of nightmares.... As dangerous as that sounds, I'm sure we'll pull this off with fe- no casualties." Asher said coughing during his correction, " Our provokers will need to use long range attacks and our back ups will need to slow down the nightmares until only one is left."

Cadeo laughed and nudged Idris, pointing at Remmy. "With any luck, he's our plan B."

Astoria: "My weapons are all middle to short range and my flames can only go so far so... I guess I'm in the back up team"

Lan: you guys start the plan I'll go out and help for any extra threats, your safety is in my hands so get to it" he said as he jumped off the ship putting his mask on. @Everyone

Koko had just awakened, confused as to what was going on.

(Lluvia can be busy sometimes so i'll try and help-) Nino: "Madelyn you should be back up considering you need to draw your transmutation circles" @rain

Cadeo wound his shoulder. "Well, it's been a while, but I can definitely fight long range. I'll be on the provoking team."
Cam nodded. "You know I'm there, too of course."
"And me!" Rimon spoke up, as if desperate to keep from being ignored. "I'll have the job done."
Cam pursed her lips at him. "You're too eager. You're gonna get us all killed."
He simply ignored her.

Before jumping Astoria looks at remmy "that seems like an annoying AOE attack... I'm glad there's no friendly fire"

"Hey, I'll lead the provokers," Dove said, "You lead the back up, ribbons. There's a chance the nightmares will harm someone since you'll need to get close."
Asher nodded in response.
"If anything happens to any of my crew, I'll take it out on you, understood?" Dove warned.
"Yes,yes I understand." Asher said, laughing nervously.
Dove sighed and faced the mix of Crows and Junkers, "Alright, those with status alignment and close ups, go with Asher. Those with long range and guns, come with me. Remmy already set off so there's no time to lose." Dove ordered.

Koko sighed. "More fighting...?" he huffed, rather annoyed. "We can't even have just one day where there isn't some kind of battle?!" he sighed, holding his staff. "Fine...I'm coming, I guess..."

Faith, a new recruit to the Junkers, follows Koko, being more suited for long range herself.

"Right with ya, Cap'n." Cadeo strides over to Dove.
"This guy is pissing me off," Rimon grumbled under his breath, as he tried to keep up with Cadeo.

Ethan: "Mishyka, do have any perfume bombs?"

"We'll need to split our healers too. So lets hope nothing too bad happens." Asher said.

A horrifying set of screeches came from the Nightmares as Remmy hit them. They clawed, jabbed, and bit at Remmy taking chunks of him off and absorbing it, their hunger only growing more.

"That's our cue. Light a spark Madi, we need to grab their attention since they're drawn to light like moths." Asher said as he sighed. "Mishyka, you're coming with me, since you still seem undecided. Your perfumes will slow them down."

Reve sighed as he looked at Remmy struggle. "I'll keep the rest imprisoned here,.... so be careful...." He said before his antlers turned into the dark energy again and reached to fling Remmy away from the Nightmare. "Missions a go..."

Ethan: *nods* *draws a transmutation circle and transmutes a ground bound sling shot* "Use this to fire some, but make sure you don't hit our team" *shows her how to load it*

Cam stopped Rimon. "I don't think that's such a great idea, kiddo. Provoking is an important job, and you're not so experienced. You could het someone hurt. And I don't like the look of that scary junker captain, when she says what'll happen if her crew gets hurt."
Rimon glared at her. "You want me to battle them close range?"
She shrugs. "Are you scared?"
His face curls into a snarl. "I think you're scared, vixen!"
She laughs. "Why don't I go with you?"
He huffs. "Fine, if you're scared, I'll help you."

Madelyn: "Yes sir. *transmutes a flare* (Madelyn is at your disposal, Ethan too.)

Koko was busily healing where he could, not attacking too much' He didn't want to make the mistake of using too much energy again...

Lan: he throws a giant sized Hybrid ghost to stop @remmy keep your feathers fluffed down Rem he's an ally he means no harm, don't let him agitate you

As Cadeo shot fire balls at the nightmares, he noticed Remmy hurdling towards Reve, he raised his hand, and shot off a ball of fire at the shapeshifter's path, only enough in hopes of stopping him.

Rimon ran headlong into the action, twirling his flail to charge up the energy his attack. But as soon as he came near a nightmare, he froze. As it lunged for him, he instinctively put up his shield to block against it's attack.

Koko noticed Remmy, but said nothing, simply focusing ahead. For some reason, he found himself...annoyed at him. Every so often, he sends out a lightning spell to assist in stopping the creatures from advancing much.

Cadeo caught the sniper's advice, and threw his flames to the pillar with a strum of his invisible strings. With the augment of his spell, the fire engulfed the pillar in seconds.

Reve still had a listless face as he saw Remmy's attacks "You'll get eaten alive." He said as he let everything happen in between, unbothered but keeping the rest of the Nightmares imprisoned
Dove quickly held onto Remmy patting him, "Remmy, don't mess with that guy." Dove scolded. "We need to focus on the nightmares... He's capable of erasing anyone, don't get yourself erased, understand?"

Asher quickly set the ship to sail as the nightmares came close, the Nightmares only a few ways away. "Alright, keep attacking."

Koko nods lightly, but somehow feels as if he's entirely useless...

Mishyka:*opens perfume bottle,concentrating the fumes towards the nightmares*
Idris: *throwing crystals at them*

Astor starts his assault with an wave of fire followed by launching himself great-sword in hand to the nightmares "out of the way" he says as he lands a blow

Dove looked at the back up ship now making its way catching up to the nightmares. "Keep the Nightmares distracted, we can't let their attention drift to our back up."
"Hey, prepare your attacks we'll be under them in just a bit. We need to knock as many as we can out or have them scurry back to the castle." Asher said

Avilyn nodded, making her way to the top of a mast. Charging up her fists with her energy.

"That should hold them back from the ship for now!" Said Cadeo as he stood back to admire his work.

Koko uses several fire attacks at the nightmares coming closest to them. He's trying to not allow his feeling of exclusion affect his fighting, but....it's rather hard since his magic is so connected to his spirit. Even though he hasn't pushed hiself, he finds his flames are weaker than what they usually are.

Nino had stored lots of electrical energy and stunned the mass of Nightmares stunning some "if we get that information that'd definitely help me when we examine it."

(im confusing myself let me die pls)

The nightmares still focused to keep their attacks at the provokers, their deafening, distorted screams desperately trying to grab the shooters as their bodies burned. Their bodies quickly regenerate in whatever way they can but some have definitely slowed down.

Seeing, Avilyn approaching, Valor shot at a group of nightmares, blinding them as Avilyn pulverized their bodies into nothing.
Asher smiled at the sight and quickly used his ribbons to hold back a group of them.

nyssa yelled to Asher hold your place I can grab one! @Airwave

Koko sighed. "I....I can't do this anymore...." he said, flat out not fighting anymore now.

nino picked up Koko 'Why do you give up? keep doing your best out there"

Mishyka: can I sleep one???*putting the release perfumes back in the casing*

Samael threw fire at thenightmares imprisoned in Asher's ribbons and continued to look for more openings.
"There's still a lot left, but I'll be able to imprison one if there's only one left." Asher said. "I'll have to do it fast and cut my ribbons though or it might consume me." He laughed nervously.

Rimon twirled his flail around him, heating it to it's highest setting, scorching the nightmarish matter with white hot light. "You're getting in the way!" He yelled, as he ran past Koko.

Koko would ask who the person was that had picked him up, but right now, he found his emotions in a mess, making him not think to do so.

"....Why? Everyone else has it covered...I don't even know why I'm even here!!"

Astor is now just keeping nightmares at bay but slowly getting surrounded "Hey... are we almost done here?" He looked around "they just keep coming"

Dove made some large icicles as the Nightmares began to notice the back up, piercing them, freezing them and splitting them into pieces.
The nightmares are now down to a small amount.
"Everyone, we need precision after this. We can't let the last one scrurry off." Dove said as she repeated her attack on more Nightmares. "Prepare the sails for chase when it's time.

Cam was in the middle of shooting select nightmares with her blasts of light, when she overheard Asher. "I can help with that if I can charge up enough light to push back a whole hoard... But it'll be close." She suggested.

"Right...I...I'm sorry..." Koko mumbled, hearing how he was being of an inconvienence. He turns away, droppinng his staff. "Why am I even here....? Everyone else could just do this without me..."

"Asher do that and i'll confine it with my psychokinesis, videls flames, and let Aasim use her threads so you don't hurt yourself with the amount you're cutting" @Asher

"Not intimidated, are you?" Rimon grinned at Astor as he ran over, bobbing his flail in and out of his hand.

Nino said to koko "I'm here but everyone is doing their part whether it's small or big we need everyone's help, so don't feel weak or beat yourself up" the android said to him

Astor scoff "hardly! I'm concerned about people like you" he says as he slashes down a couple of smaller creatures

Asher nodded. "Yes this is a group effort." He said, "Let's make this capture clean."

Dove nodded at the response. "Alright prepare for a large attack and pick them off until there's just one." She said. "We'll let Asher's team pick up from there."

Koko was no longer caring about the fight, just allowing his tears to fall, not even caring what happened now. Afterall, someone else could cover it. All he did was get in the way...

"Well, the proof is in the pudding," Rimon laughed, as he took out a few others with another swing. "That makes 18 for me, what about you?"

"I don't know..." Koko said. "I try to do things, but I'm not a very good fighter...I hate it...and...the more fights we have, the more I think I really didn't do much..."

Koko attempted to fire lightning to try and stop the enemy renforcements, but his own magic was pretty weak right now.

"Like I'm counting! Unlike you I don't have time for childish games" he blocks an attack but gets thrown out of balance "gah- stupid monsters..."

"Alright, that's enough of that," Cadeo stretched his arms, and jumped into the fray. "My long flames are out of juice. Time for some hand-to-hand!"

With Dirk being out of commission and the ships medical hall Callie was on her again today. As well indi stayed with dove like last time and was by her side to see if she could help. As for Fylnt she was part of the action.

Koko continues to use Lighning to stop the reinforcements, but he's still not feeling much better.

"Yeah... Well neither do I!" He says hesitantly, but angrily. Taking the chance, he jumps in front of Astor, shielding them both against a nearby nightmare, and countering with a heat blast. "Who's childish now?"

Idle looks to Koko with worry. "Are you okay? If you are low on energy, you could borrow some of mine if you'd like."

"N...no...you're needed right now..." he said, shaking. He probably shouldn't be fighting while he'd almost gone into a magical coma before, and his emotional state wasn't of help.

Avilyn looked at the leftover nightmares coming after Asher and the ribbons. She directioned her hands while charging up before letting out an array of light that injured them, making them scurry away with an agonizing screech. The nightmare scrreamed, making the crews to flinch and cover their ears. It struggled and bit at the things now entrapping it, stretching and gluing its dark aura onto the ribbons, reaching for the soul they wanted. "Now would be a perfect time for those cuts-" Asher said nervously.

After running Fylnt had noticed roux out of the corner of her eye. So she slid the full force to get to her make sure she is okay and had taken a deep breath after all that running.
Fylnt: heya Roux sorry for not showing Indi didn’t set a alarm today for me. Any who you still wanna do cooking lessons with me afterwards?

Rimon, agitated, pauses to stick his tongue out at Astor, leaving himself open to an approaching nightmare behind him.

Nyssa used her psychokinesis and wrapped the nightmare in it, Videl's fire was wrapped as a layer and Aasim finally wrapped it in her thread that spread like fire around the base

Cam keeps her eyes on the capture process, keeping the area around it clean, as she dances about the air, shooting blasts of light at any stragglers.

Aasim cut Ashers ribbons and quickly sewed the ends quickly "we should hurry now and escape" @Everyone

Astor smiles contempling the idea of letting Rimong get decked but then reacts a the mature adult he wants to believe he is "fine..." he jumps to cover Rimon with his sword

Koko assists on keeping the area free of all reinforcements save for the nightmare they were trying to capture. He's getting a headache, but he's ignoring it

Rimon, once realizing what happened, grimaces in irritated defeat at having to be saved. "Dammit!" But before he can make up for it, he hears the signal to retreat. "Alright, not bad for now, kid!" He tells Astor, before retracting his flail, and waving others back to the ship.

"How...am I of use...?" Koko's voice was wavering now as he heard Idle. "I'm...just a pacifist sage-elf....who alwas nearly goes into....comas every fight... Everyone else....does the big stuff...."

Idle could see Koko was running on low, and nervously looked at everyone beginning to retreat. "It's okay, you made it to the end! We can retreat now!" They drape his arm over their shoulder. "Let's get back to the ship, okay?"

lan yelled to @Everyone "You finished a majority of them but there's still more coming so let's get going, I can't hold them off forever"

Koko blinked as he found himself being moved. "But...did...did they get it...? It's not...gonna hurt them....?" Koko still felt worried despite the fact that if he used his magic anymore he might just black out.

"There we go, it's still writhing in there though so for now we have to let it settle down." Asher said.
"Hey, why couldn't The Reve just capture one? He seems immune to this." Avery asked.
"Uhh.... he cant capture them. He immediately eats them. He's just been trying to keep them all imprisoned inside the castle grounds anyway since he gets sick of eating too many. I also told him we couldn't destroy them or else our clues would be gone." Asher answered.

Avilyn sighed looking at the struggling nightmare encased in ribbons. "These things are the source of my misery...." She said softly, "Their master is cruel..."
The nightmare hissed at her words, "Our master is the god of this universe, The Dreamer is nothing but a false step in..."

Astor examines the area and launches another wave of fire to make the nightmares back off a little "let's keep going! I dont even want to think what will happen if we stay here"

Nyssa speaking to herself "so there really is a new source.." She starts writing in her book, "sigh how things have gone bad because of them"

Asher sat near the nightmare, disgusted at its movements, "You do realize that you are not given a soul because The Mother would have loathed your existence, right? You're nothing but an after affect of a trauma affecting this world she made." Asher scoffed.
The Nightmare quickly scurried to face Asher. "A trauma she deserved for abandoning this world... and,,, you" It said as it gave out a laugh that sent chills to everyone. "I can not wait until the world turns into dust from the oncoming war and darkness that will arise from people's desperations. When time starts to tick again, it will start."

Asher sighed and glanced around. "So it is true that time has stopped.... not like any of us could have noticed.... something that only happens to this universe when it is in absolute danger...." Asher shook his head. "But still, where is the trauma located...? If you don't answer The Reve won't mind biting you off until you talk."

Lan thinking to himelf in anger and looks at Lyn..."tsk.."

"Time's not running....makes sense....it's why my magic must barely be regenerating or at all...I'm supposed to naturally regenerate my magic over time...but...if time's not running...."

"What is going on?" Astor looks around looking at everyone's reaction "what is the meaning of this"

Cam listens calmly, but something in her eyes burns with anger. "Is everything okay?" Idle asks her in a whisper, touching her arm protectively.
She nods, and straightens her hat. "Just wondering when we can start cutting into this thing."

"...." Koko seemed a bit concerned. But it wasn't so much about his own state. If he had to run his magic dry, then so be it. It was the fact...time wasn't running. It must be harming more beings, right?

Lan: Time isn't the problem...We need to use every last nonosecond in this time...

Koko simply looked at his hands. He hadn't had his tanned color in them for awhile now. His energy was never the same either, and it took less and less for him to pass out... If anyone figured it out...he might be told to stay out of battle.

Dove sighed, "What a pathetic thing. But at least we'll make good use of it."
"Avilyn, be a dear and pulverize a part of its body." Asher said sweetly. Avilyn nodded and did as she was told, making the nightmare screech and writhe in pain. "Well, what do you have to say?" Asher pushed with his questions.

The nightmare recovering from the puncture began to bite at the ribbons again. "I can not reveal anything...! I'll bite at that throat of yours!"
"Will something happen to your existence if you reveal anything...?" Asher asked.
"Our god is righteous. He is righteous...!"
"I didn't ask that." Asher said, irritated. "Tell me at least, how is he making these Nightmares in large quantities.?"
The nightmare stayed silent, still growling.
"Either way, you'll be of use to us..." Asher warned.
"You know this is The Mother's fault.... Had she not killed her-"
Asher quickly grabbed at it's throat, "The fault lies in the Trauma do not speak of The Mother like this. But thanks to this, I understand now. He has the Daemon, isn't that correct? All this time of searching for him and he's being used... That's the only way he's grown to have the power to create." Asher said, clearly furious and annoyed. "Avery, or dissecting team, do what you want with it. I need that thing out of my sight." He said with clear disgust.

Avery nodded with a smile. "Hey come help me take this downstairs! I can't wait...!" He said to anyone willing to touch the nightmare (lmao)

Koko just watched. "At least that thing will be out of here...." he said, still a bit worried.

Nyssa and Aasim looked at Asher "What!"

Koko felt his vision start to give, and flops to the ground, shaking. He looks worse than before...

Avilyn looked back to Koko and immediately rushed to him. "Oh dear...! Are you okay...? What's wrong...! Asher...!" She panicked as tears began to form.

Avery frowned, disappointed at what happened. "Really...?" He said in a defeated voice. The weapons we could have made...."

"....." Koko doesn't say anything, not wanting anyone to know the truth. If they found out that time not running is making him not able to restore his magic, they'll force him to not fight...and be even more useless...

"I'm fine....I'm fine..." he said quickly, trying to stand. However, he just flops back down again.

Avery smiled, "Ah, if I can replicate the samples, it shouldn't be a problem... but now it'll take longer. I thought I could have applied this to Cecilia."

Nino said to koko "If what I believe is to be correct you cannot use magic and since time has stopped maybe you should learn to use another weapon in the meantime, while your magic grows as much as it can in an emergency."

penelope uhhh watches everything unfold

Koko shook his head. "I....I don't have the ability....to take...another person's...life forces....besides...I'd be scared..'.of taking too much...I don't...want....anyone else to...be like this..."

Cadeo, still standing with his arms folded, looked around with a dissatisfied expression. "That Asher fellow sure was miffed. What on earth could the Daemon be?"

Idle sighed. "We should at least get you some bed rest. Are you wounded anywhere?"

He was terrified of even using swords, and his aim was terrible on firearms... His only expertise was his magic...and if he's not allowed to use it, what can he use?

Idris: *goes over to a bench and sits down with her fingers to her forehead as she sighs*

Penelope takes up residence beside Avilyn, quickly tending to Koko's needs. "Please... be more careful," she smiles weakly.

Cam approaches Idris. "Are you alright?" She asks, sitting beside her, "It was quite a fu- er, rough battle, wasn't it?"

"I'm fine...." he said, shaking both from fatigue and at the talk of him using another weapon'

Asher sighed and looked at Koko. "Hm.... your magic levels.. Avilyn, give him some of yours."

"I know who you are but I promise you nothing will harm you for this. You have an endless source of magic." Asher said calmly.
Avilyn looked down and nodded. She then held onto Koko's chest and back gently, transferring some of her magic onto him, engulfing him in a soft veil of energy.

"He seems a bit scary though." Sam said, obviously concerned for his brother.

Dove nodded. "The ground here is stable. Unlike the desert everywhere else."
"....That's fair...." Reve responded. ".... do tellthe shapeshifter m awfully sorry for throwing him off.... but I did not want him to be eaten alive because of the mass of Nightmares...."
"Will do." Dove laughed.

Avilyn smiled and nodded, "I hope I won't be too much of a bother to you since I get hurt easily...." She said shyly.

"I ohly know how to give healing to others, and I can keep doing it...as long as I have a magic supply... As long as time doesn't run...the only regen I get is what my body does in an emergency..."
