Gates had characters with actual development and /character/ to them. Blows Explorer's static slapped on sterotypes and walking catchphrases out of the water Hey-Hey!

Plot was darkest, and got into some real topics.

Gameplay, unfortunetly, sucked.

^(Also didnt have LITERALLY -COUNTED- 37 FLASHBACKS THAT NOT A SINGLE ONE WAS ACTUALLY NEEDED.)

Kurz I heavily suggest you play Explorers Of Sky (I can give you it on emulator) but if you get upset at GTI's text and Super's CONNECTED you are gonna FLIP everytime an unessisary flash back happens, or when your partner re-explains the entire explained situation as a shocked question.

Or, oh god, the grind-fest recruitment.

Or the IQ skills basically being "Earning smart Ai" Like who the HE.LL thought it was a good idea to grind iQ for the pokemon to learn to: Not use status moves on pokemon with that status, target type advantage, target low HP, AVOID TRAPS, AVOID LAVA, grab items.

I don't hate explorers. I don't hate any PMD. I love them all. But the fact that Explorers gets the nostolgia love and Gates gets hated bugs the hel.l outta me.

The "CONNECTED!" thing in Super only annoyed me somewhat, though GTI's SlowAssText is annoying enough to me to not make me want to play it anymore. Can't stand it being so slow and being unable to speed it up.

I could get Explorers on the Wii U, but I'm not sure if purchasing anything on the Eshop requires anything email related? I can't get intothe email that my NNID is linked to and, well... you know about my account loss paranoia because of my little fiasco with my OG-but-not-really-OG (it was my 2nd) Xbox account. I honestly hate emails. >__>

Speaking of Gates' story, I've actually forgot a bit of it. Kinda want to restart it but at the same time, I have several moves up to rank VII (...heh) and I don't think I can put up with THE SLOWASSTEXT for another playthrough. Yes, it bothers me that much lol

Y'know...I wonder how hard it'd be to find a DS cart of Explorers. I'd like to play it on my 3ds, and really just have a physical copy over digital. (I dislike digital because of digital games being lost if you get f**ked out of an account)

I remember playing Pokemon Mystery Dungeon -- specifically Explores of Sky. I never finished it, but I did like the experience. I never got to the point of evolution though... ; U
