I'm not much of a teacher as I'm still learning myself. I do however appreciate your kindness in considering me, as an acknowledgement of my artiatic capabilities. It's truly an honor for me. So thank you once again ^-^ I'd say the best way to improve is to keep drawing every day, multiple times a day. Draw what you love. Develop your own art style. Look at the artworks of other artists you admire whose art style is similar to what you'd want and try to develop the direction you want your style to form in from those foundations. Continue to draw in that style until you perfect it and get to the point you're comfortable with it. Don't be afraid to experiment, draw things, poses, and in art styles that are outside of your comfort zone and you may surprise yourself.
Learning to see the shapes and lines in objects is very helpful as well. Torchic for instance is a combination of circles, ovals and triangles. Drawing from real life can be beneficial. Even if you want to draw in an anime/manga/cartoon style they all take their root in reality. The more you understand real human anatomy the better you can translate it and convert it to a stylized medium such as a manga style by taking some creative liberties in altering the proportions to your personal liking.
Draw both digitally and traditionally. A good old fashioned pencil and paper is the best way to learn in my opinion. However having the ability and skill to do both is extremely beneficial especially if you hope to make a career out of this. When drawing here on colors experiment with all the different drawing tools and learn how they do what they do and which ones you like best. For instance the drawing you made prior to this of the starry sky and grass. A different way you could do it to give the appearance of greater detail. Start with the grass. Go to the brush tool thats the one above the eraser. Move the size until it appears to be about a finger's width. Choose a dark green, then make vertical strokes starting from the bottom of the screen up until the desired length. Continue this along the width of the page. Then choose a lighter shade of green and do the same thing but make shorter strokes beginning a little above where you began making the strokes with the darker green.
Do this a few more times gradually choosing lighter and lighter tones of green. This method will give the appearance of tall grass growing straight up. As for the stars. Use the top tool but lower the size until it a little way away from the bottom of the scale. Then do the stars the smaller they are the more realistic they'll seem. I hope all this was helpful to you and you continue to enjoy creating and pursuing art.
