A scene from Chapter 2 of BND's RP. A rogue pirate took a shot at Mayze which Kairyu didn't take too kindly to. Usually a mellow & good vibes kinda guy, this was the first glimpse at Kairyu's serious and beastly side. He's a fierce protector. Why he'd go to such lengths for Mayze is unknown even to him. He reacted without a second thought, he done what came natural to him.
