Varan comes in closer to find out whats going on

*Tsubasa's taken to a room, and when Geed came back out Godzilla started explaining the situation to him.*

Varan: Whats going on now Godzilla?

*Godzilla gulped.*
Godzilla: The Ultras might be able to get this disease now...

Varan: How is that even possible? :O

Godzilla: I don't know...

Varan: Oh man, I thought this was going to get better, not worse...

*Godzilla's silent.*

Varan: I'm scared now Godzilla q-q

Godzilla: Hey...we all are. But we can get through this, okay?
*Despite saying that, Godzilla looked as if he had lost all hope of survival. Like he accepted the fact that most of the monsters are infected with this currently uncurable disease and he might be next. It's really upsetting to see.*

Varan just stared as he started to see Godzilla's look and realised how he felt

(Sorry ^^" Got grounded yesterday -n- and had to work xD)

*Godzilla looked down at the floor, his face darkened. And it looked like a tear leaked from his eye...*

(Being grounded must've sucked DX)

It must be because of Juno especially

(We ended up working almost all day though, so it hardly made a difference xD)

*Godzilla walked off somewhere to think.*

Varan was almost going to cry too, he felt so hopeless and confused

(Anyways, whats up? :D How are you?)

*He suddenly heard a sad squeak. It turned out to be Uju, who just woke up. But...its colors seemed to have gotten a little darker than before.*

(I'm good ^u^ I'm hoping that we adopt a kitten)

Varan: Uju! Its good to see you at least...are you ok?

(A Kitten!?! :O I WANT A KITTEN!!! QWQ)

*Uju squeaked quietly. The star on its tail didn't glow as brightly as before, and it's very reluctant to move. Someone would assume that its still tired, but...this seemed more serious than that.*

(Me too XD)

Varan: Oh no, please be ok!!! Do you need food? Water? Bathroom?

(I hope you can get one ^v^)

*Uju used its energy to calm Varan down, and its colors as well as the star became darker. It also seemed to have gotten weaker. If its not tired...then is it just low on energy?*

Varan: How do I get you more energy though? Maybe...maybe an Ultraman or Kiryu might know?

*Actually, Zero just walked out of a room. Maybe he can help?*

Varan: ZERO! Can you help me please? It's Uju!

*Zero immediately went over to them.*
Zero: What's wrong? Is Uju okay?

Varan: Hes losing energy

*After thinking for a minute, Zero tried using the light from his body to help Uju recover its energy. Miraculously, its colors started to slowly brighten back up.*

Varan: Oh good -o- I guess I forgot he was a baby

Zero: *chuckles* Everyone forgets stuff in the middle of all this craziness. *He stopped laughing* Hey, Varan, was it Geed that I heard freaking out a minute ago?

Varan: Yeah, he was...um, Tsubasa

*Immediately Zero became worried.*
Zero: Did something happen to him??

Varan: (Oh gosh he doesnt know ono I don't wanna tell him)

*Zero only became even more concerned when Varan didn't say anything.*
Zero: Please, Varan, tell me! I need to know!

Varan: H-He may have caught the disease and Geed brought him in!

*Zero froze. His face darkened. He seemed to be internally denying what Varan told him.*
Zero: ...N-no...no...NO!
*He suddenly fell to his knees with his face buried in his hands, trembling and...crying?*
Zero: Why?! He didn't deserve this! I-it...i-it's all my fault...!

Varan: I know, he just came to help...I'm sorry

*Zero continued to cry. Tsubasa's his only son and he didn't want to lose him.*

Varan: (I wonder what its like to have a kid)

*Zero eventually became oddly silent.*

*He took another deep breath.*
Zero: ...Tsubasa was born in a lab...created by a Baltan that used to work with us...

(It was great ^v^ I got a new laptop, so I'm planning on making new videos)

Varan: Woooah :O

Zero: Tsubasa was created using artificial genes and DNA of both me and Dark Zagi...but...unlike us, he didn't develop many disease resisting factors...so...it made him vulnerable to diseases like this...

Varan: Oh, wow, thats interesting, and sad

Zero: Why I didn't say anything sooner? Well...the Baltan that created Tsubasa not only went insane and saw him as the ultimate killing machine...but he also hated him...he thought of him as nothing more than a mistake...he didn't even care if Tsubasa got hurt...I...I was too much of a coward to say something...I just didn't want any of you to see him the same way the Baltan did...

Varan: No way would we see him that way!

*Zero remained silent, like he's thinking about something.*

Varan: Whats up?

Zero: Nothing...

Varan: So...any ideas?

Zero: Nope...

Varan: Looked like you were thinking though

*Zero didn't say anything.*

Varan: Ok....No one knows what to do...:c

*After a few minutes of silence, Zero finally stood up and started to walk away.*

Varan: Now what Zero?

Zero: I wish I knew...
*Zero kept walking until he's out of sight.*

Varan: Back to you and me Uju...

*Uju looked sad. It wanted to help Zero since he's upset, but it's still recovering its energy.*

Varan: Don't be sad Uju. we'll see Zero laer then you can help! :3

*Eventually, Uju's able to cheer up.*

*Since there's nothing left to do but wait, maybe it's time to check up on Gigan. Maybe he's in the infirmary's storage room?*

(Also, I haven't forhot about your gift, don't worry ^^" I was sick saturday, can't play on Sundays, worked yesterday, and may have a family outing today.)

*Going to the door to the storage room, it would normally be locked with a password...but the lock is completely destroyed, keeping the door unlocked. It must've been Gigan that damaged it.*

(Yet I won't be going anywhere today cuz it's storming DX)

Varan: Um, convenient....*opens door*

(It might storm here too x-x Which might cancel it.)

*There are shelves along the walls, all of them storing medicine, drugs, and medical equipment. Gigan's sitting down, facing the wall, with what looked like a small container of anti-depressants next to him. He seemed to be trembling a little...*

Varan: Uh oh...*slowly apptoaches Gigan*

(Gotta go now. Have a fantastic day! ^w^)

*Gigan's muttering something about Cosmos to himself.*

Varan: *Just decides to listen and not give away his presence*

*He can hear Gigan muttering more clearly now, sounding like 'How does Cosmos accept me for being this way?'*

Varan: *More sneak*

Gigan: 'He always wants to help others, but...I only hurt everyone. How does Cosmos even put up with me? How does anyone at all even put up with me?'

Varan: Aww q-q Oops

*Gigan sighed.*
Gigan: ...Varan...be honest when I ask you this. What is it that doesn't make you hate my guts? Or...do you actually hate me for being the way I am? Huh?

Gigan: That's what everyone says these days. It makes me wonder whether they actually mean it or not.
*Gigan obviously wants to hide something. It seems it'll take a bit of talking to get him to open up about it.*

Varan: Well they do mean it, but you never let anyone in to nelp you cause you feel like no one can solve it but you. But its really tearing you apart

*Gigan suddenly slammed his blade hand on the floor.*
Gigan: But would you understand if I said I never had loving parents?! Would you understand if I said just how hard it is for me to get through the day?! Would you understand if I said how tired and numb I feel all the time?!

Varan: Why do you feel tired and numb?

(Hey Kira. I'm so sorry for disappearing. I've been even worse busy lately o-o And even today I'm still busy (I'm sorry I say that so much now) and I've been going through some things.. I'm sorry for not commenting, I've hardly had the time and I didn't want to leave a comment when we didn't have time to chat)

*Gigan heavily sighed.*
Gigan: ...I...I always think I'm still with my real dad, even though I'm here...and...well...I end up feeling painfully numb like I always used to when he was around. It bothers me so much that I can hardly even sleep. I hate it and I want it to stop...!

Varan: Was your Dad mean to you?

(Well, it is right now for some reason o-o Its not usually this bad but the past two weeks it has been (Hence my slower posting))

*Gigan shifted uncomfortably. He took a few deep breaths before speaking.*
Gigan: He...he was m-more than that...he...he h-hated me w-with every inch of h-his being...
*Gigan's trembling a lot, but he continued anyway.*
Gigan: H-he...he w-would always hurt me...cutting me, kicking me, stomping on me...a-all of that...!

Varan: (Ok, I think I'm starting to put this together...He was beaten by his father, and Juno was like a child to him, so he wanted to do better..)

*At this point, it sounded like Gigan's...crying a little?*
Gigan: N-no matter w-what I do...I...I c-can't f-forget what m-my father did t-to me...

Varan: (I'm really not sure how to deal with Dad issues..my dad was rough, but he just wanted to toughen me up, not in a mean way...)
Its ok, you're free now.

*Eventually, Gigan calmed down.*

Varan: *pat pat* (ouch, spiky back! o-o)

*Gigan's quiet for a bit.*

Varan: It must be hard living with that pain, but you can move past it now..

Gigan: Varan...if you've been in my situation, then you'd know that moving on is easier said than done. Do you have a certain memory that you just can't ever get out of your head?

Varan: Hmmm....well, there is one, yes..

Gigan: Imagine that memory of you being wronged day in and day out, always looked down upon as a waste of flesh and oxygen, constantly being beaten JUST because you were born. After that, it results in getting an infection that's so bad that it hurts to move, with your hands, feet, and even your jaws swelling up. You vomit, bleed, tremble, fear for your life, and even be starved or denied of water until you're almost dead. And after all of that...you're left behind, unable to go anywhere, with no hope of being able to live until someone comes by and finds you dying slowly. Would you be able to move on from that, if the one who made you suffer almost your whole life was supposed to protect you?

Varan: (How could anyone ever treat their child that way!)

Gigan: I'm just relieved that he didn't make Bekka suffer like I did...

Varan: Bekka?

*Gigan nodded.*
Gigan: Yeah. My sister.

Varan: I didnt know you had a sister
(Ive gotta head out to a party now. I hope your day is AWESOME! Happy 4th!!!)

Gigan: Not everyone knows.

Gigan: From what I've heard, he would lock Bekka in a room with some of the most violent monsters in Belial's army. Now she's traumatized, and she cries every time it's brought up.

Varan: Did they attack her, or just try to convince her to join?

Gigan: They tried both, but Belial wouldn't let them hurt her. Instead, she was forced to watch them beat one of his prisoners to death, saying that will happen to her if she refused to join his army.

Varan: That is horrible T-T Dud they beat you up as an example once?

Gigan: No. I actually didn't even know about it until Bekka told me.

(OH MY GAWD WITZKE ULTRAMAN R/B EPISODE 1 IS OUT!!!!111)

Varan: Oh, she kept it secret then...

*Gigan didn't say anything.*

Varan: Its been really stressful lately, hasn't it...seeing everyone get infected.

Gigan: Honestly...it's even worse with Juno infected.

Varan: I know, with Juno being so vulnerable...

Varan: I still have hope though..

Gigan: Tell me, Varan...how do you still have hope at this point? We're not even close to developing a cure and the infected are dying.

Varan: Because I know things always work out for good in the end, just think of all of Godzilla's impossible battles!

Gigan: Has someone ever told you that not even Godzilla can win every battle?

Varan: Um, no

Gigan: That's what I thought. Well, guess what? Even Godzilla loses battles. In fact, everyone does. And does dealing with this disease seem like a battle that can be won?

Varan: Maybe Godzilla has lost a battle or two, but the enemy still always gets beaten when people come and help

Gigan: Look at when we fought Belial. Even if we fought together, we still lost. Don't you get it by now? Any hopes we have are going to be crushed sooner or later.
*Sounds like Gigan doesn't have any hope himself.*

Varan: If we don't fight for a future though, there wont be any future. We can let everyone die, or we can try as hard as we can to save them

*Gigan's silent all of a sudden.*

Varan: We have to keep pushing together if we ever want to make a difference

Gigan: ...Varan...don't you realize how worthless I am? All I ever do is hurt myself in some way day after day, not to mention always keeping myself distant from everyone. When was the last time I forced myself to wear myself out and feel that I let everyone down when I did something even slightly wrong?

*Varan was stunned to see Gigan actually get up*

*It's a bit weird seeing Gigan actually become determined to do something, since he hasn't been that way in a long time.*

Varan: I better keep going and see if I can motivate anyone else :D

Varan: Lets go!

*When they walked out of the storage room, there's a sudden static noise coming from the speakers throughout the ship.*

Varan: *Immediately looks up at the speaker, expecting a voice*

*An unfamiliar female voice came from the speakers.*
???: Greetings, Earth monsters. I'm speaking with you today to give you valueable information regarding this plague you're faced with.
*Instead of looking hopeful, Uju looked scared, like it didn't trust the voice at all. It hugged Varan's hand for comfort.*

Varan: Who in the world is on the air??

(Aww man, sorry about your back ;n; But those stickers sound really cool! *o*)

???: So, many of you may wonder who I am. Well...just call me Empress Gevirah. I am the queen of a very intelligent alien species that you may call The Kuchiku-kan. We mean no harm to you.
*Uju didn't seem convinced.*

Gevirah: A lot of my people have been infected with this plague that you're currently faced with. We've been trying to develop a cure just like you, only to fail again and again. But fear not. We've recently discovered a way to reverse the development of this plague to its beginning stage. However, we haven't yet discovered how to completely break it down. All I ask is to share your research with us so we can cure this plague and save everyone infected. That is all.
*The speakers turned off.*

Varan: That is...odd..but, interesting...Is this a good or bad thing??

*Uju doesn't seem to believe what Gevirah said.*

Varan: That voice really seemed to make you upset :c

*Uju hugged Varan's hand, and it started...crying. A lot like Gigan when he remembered a traumatic experience, except Uju's really quiet about it.*

Varan: Mmmph..I have a feeling that these people aren't nice..Don't worry Uju, I'll protect you if they try anything!

*Uju happily squeaked.*

Varan: I trust you. Besides, aliens have always tried to trick the humans xD

*Uju's completely calm now.*

Varan: Good! Now lets tell spacegodzilla!

*Apparently, finding SpaceGodzilla is easier said than done. Most doors in the infirmary won't open, and he's not in any of the rooms they tried entering. However, they met Megaguirus outside a room.*

Varan: Megaguirus! Did you hear the radio message?

Megaguirus: Yeah. Everyone did.
*Something seemed wrong. She didn't even look over at them or anything. She just kept staring at the wall.*

Varan: I don't think these aliens are trustworthy

Megaguirus: Same.

Varan: Plus, Uju really doesnt like them either!

Megaguirus: Really?

Varan: Yeah. Tell her Uju!

*Uju responded with a squeak.*

(Close enough XD)

Varan: See :O

Megaguirus: Huh. Uju, have you, by any chance, met these aliens before?
*Uju nodded.*

Varan: Did they try to hurt you?

*Uju nodded again.*

Varan: GASP >:O

Megaguirus: I knew it! These aliens are trying to trick us into trusting them!

Varan: Now what do we need to do?

Megaguirus: I'll go tell SpaceGodzilla. There's no telling what these aliens are going to do next.

Varan: Hopefully they'll go away qvq

Megaguirus: Something's just screaming at me that they're not going to pass us by.
*Megaguirus went off to find SpaceGodzilla.*

Varan: Lets go look too!

*Uju seemed to want to tell Varan something.*

Varan: Yes Uju? What is it?

*Uju started trying to talk, sounding like 'They hurt dad' and 'dad lost arm'. It must've been talking about the aliens.*

(DUN DUN DUUUUUUUUNNN!)

Varan: Woah, you talked!? :O

*Uju squeaked.*

Varan: And now yoy squeeked xD Well, back to finding Space!

*Going further down the hall, they suddenly noticed some kind of dark purple mold around a few doors, and the air here smelled as heavy as it did outside before nearly everyone got infected.*

Varan: Oh no o-o What has happened in the time we were gone?!

(I'm kinda slow too DX I've been doing kinda fine btw)

*Upon closer inspection, it looked like the purple mold is...moving. Uju started squeaking a lot more than usual, like it didn't want to be around the mold.*

[*Happy hug* ^v^]

*Varan backs up, wanting to stay away from the mold, but he qlso wonders what is up with it*

Varan: (Is that the infection? Was there an outbreak? Is Everyone ok?!?)

*Uju's really scared.*

Varan: We need to make our way to Spacegodzilla!!

*They came to a door, and SpaceGodzilla's inside the room, with Megaguirus talking to him.*

Varan: Space!! Mold! infection! Spooky!

*SpaceGodzilla didn't respond...*

Varan: Spaaaaace!

*Instead of saying something about it, SpaceGodzilla just quietly beckoned him over.*

Varan: ??

*Upon going over there, SpaceGodzilla scanned them for any infections in silence. Then he put a face mask on Uju and then (kind of forcefully) on Varan. His face is darkened and sweating a little.*

Varan: *Varan is starting to freak out a bit now. What the heck has happened to cause him to be this way?*

*SpaceGodzilla isn't silent anymore.*
SpaceGodzilla: Varan...you and Uju need to leave immediately. Just get out of here and don't come back. Don't even think about coming back either.
*SpaceGodzilla's eyes looked significantly darker than usual.*

Varan: W-w-why? And where could we go??

SpaceGodzilla: I'll answer questions later, just- *cough* -go to the main room...now!
*He sounded VERY serious.*

Varan: *Varan then ran his way to the main room quickly*

*While running through the hall, there's more of that purple mold on the walls and ceiling.*

Varan: This is really scary!

*When they got to the doors and left the infirmary, it sounded like someone locked the doors from the inside.*

Varan: EEP qvq

*Uju's really scared.*

Varan: *goes faster*

*They're in the lab now. No one's in there and it's very quiet.*

Varan: Okay, I need to take a rest -<-"

*Uju eventually fell asleep.*

Varan: Ok, I think I need to rest too...

*While Varan's trying to sleep, something weird started happening with Uju. Its colors turned significantly darker, but the dots in its fur representing stars began glowing. The star on its tail also started glowing brighter than before.*

Varan: *sleeping* Kittens...and puppies...and Ice cream sandwhiches -q-

*Varan started having another dream. Now...it's the day he met Tsubasa. He's with Rodan and Geed, talking about normal things until Zero walked in with someone hiding behind him.*
Zero: Hey! You guys have a minute?

Varan: Uh, sure Zero! Whats up? :O

Zero: I just thought that I could introduce someone to you.
*He urged the one behind him to step to the side so they can see him. Everything about him (not literally) screamed Dark Zagi at them. He's grey with several red, purple, and blue markings. He also had eyes similar to Dark Zagi's, which are colored orange. He also had a red energy timer under his dark blue color timer. His shoulder armor is colored black. Though he's similar to Zero in some ways, he's also very similar to Dark Zagi in appearance. Despite how evil he looked, he actually seemed very shy and curious at the same time.*

Varan: ....*A little afraid of all of those similarities, but still trying to be nice, since he trusts Zero* Hi there ^u^

*Rodan seemed to freak out a little, looking back at Varan with his eyes and back to the Ultra, but also trying to stay calm.*
Rodan: U-uh...hi, um...w-what's...your name?
*The Ultra hesitated to answer.*

Varan: Does, it have a name? :o

*Zero encouraged the Ultra to introduce himself. Finally, the Ultra speaks up.*
???????: ...T...Tsubasa...
*He's really quiet, but loud enough for them to hear him.*

Varan: Stoobaza?

*While Rodan began teaching Varan how to say Tsubasa's name properly, Geed's weirdly silent. It looked like he's thinking.*

Varan:, Oh, ok, got it, sorry Tsubabsa.

*Rodan facepalmed. REALLY hard. Then went back to teaching Varan how to say Tsubasa's name properly. Again.*

*Rodan seemed very uncomfortable around Tsubasa.*

Rodan: *Whispers back* He looks like Dark Zagi!

Varan: Yeah, he does a bit :o

Rodan: It freaks me out just thinking about what he can be capable of! What if he suddenly turns on us one day? We'd be blindsided!

*Back with the other three, Geed's busy talking with Tsubasa.*

Varan: So, Zero...is he actually from Dark Zagi?

*Zero's weirdly silent and looked very uncomfortable.*

Varan: Oh, um, sorry for asking c8>

Zero: I-it's fine. I should probably explain anyway...
*Static on the speakers around the ship suddenly woke Varan up from his dream.*

Varan: WAH! ... Hey, I was dreaming! -n0

*Instead of SpaceGodzilla giving everyone an update...it's Gigan.*
Gigan: Okay...bad news...SpaceGodzilla's infected. And...I wish I didn't have to say this, but...Juno only has 4 hours to live.

Varan: :O .... *falls on knees*

*At first there's silence from the speakers, and Gigan muttering 'I can't take this anymore' before the speakers shut off.*

Varan: Oh no, this is even worse now! No one's left to work on the antidote <:/

*Uju's glowing brightly all of a sudden...*

Varan: Ow my eyes >^o Uju??

*Particles of light started emanating from Uju, phasing through the walls and ceiling. The monitor nearby turned on, showing outside the ship. The particles rose in the air, and eventually...it started snowing outside. The room got a bit cold too. But autumn just started. It can't be that cold already...*

Varan: Woooahh o.o *Varan isn't very sure what to do, he is taken away by whats going on*

*The particles stopped emanating from Uju and it went back to normal. All of a sudden someone can be heard shouting in the other room. It sounded like Zero.*

Varan: Zero!? *Runs into room*

*Eleking is outside the control room, looking distressed.*

Varan: *grabs Eleking and shakes him* Whats going on dude!?!

Eleking: I don't know! Zero's eyes turned orange and he started getting upset and aggressive all of a sudden!

Varan: D-does this mean he's infected!?

Eleking: I don't think so, but--
*Zero started shouting again.*
Zero: LEAVE ME ALONE!!

Varan: Wait is he being attacked!? *still shaking Eleking*

Eleking: Not at all! He just started being all upset and aggressive after what Gigan said!

(Hey Witzke...I saw a video of someone coming out as gay to his religious family...)

Varan: Oh...uh, sorry for shaking you

Eleking: It's fine, but can you PLEASE do something about Zero?? He's freaking me out!

(He had to move out because they didn't support him being gay...)

*In the control room, Zero's sitting down on the floor with Cosmos trying to calm him down. Zero's eyes are orange exactly like Belial's eyes, and he seemed to be crying a bit.*

(I cried after seeing it. Also I don't quite understand the define religious part. I've become a computer, sorry X'D)

Varan: Z-Zero? <:o

Zero: ...It's all pointless now, isn't it? All the times I nearly killed myself protecting Juno don't mean anything in the end anymore, do they?!
*Zero's starting to be aggressive again.*

Varan: Don't say that, Zero? <:c

Cosmos: Listen, Zero, they can still save him! They'll find a way to cure him and he'll be fine!
*Zero suddenly shoved Cosmos away, causing him to fall over.*
Zero: How can Juno be saved in 4 hours if nobody knows how to cure him?! We're nowhere near finding the cure and he's dying!
*Zero's clearly getting more and more upset about Juno.*

Varan: He's right, it does seem hopeless..But theres always a silver lining!! Something will come!

Zero: And what if it doesn't? What if Juno dies before we even find a cure? What do we do then?!
*At this point, it didn't seem possible to convince Zero that Juno will be fine...until static came from the speakers again.*

Varan: We---OW, my ears >nO

*This time...Juno's voice came from the speaker.*
Juno: Hey Zero... *cough* ...it's been a while since we last talked, hasn't it? Heh...it feels like it was yesterday instead of 2 years...

(Hey Witzke, if you saw my Inktober Day 3 drawing, then...I hope you're not judging me very harshly for it. It really takes a lot out of me to post that, y'know? Usually I'm afraid of being judged or hated for stuff like that, but I went ahead and did it anyway, despite knowing you're not really a fan of gay relationships. In short, I hope we're still friends despite what I drew.)

*Zero stayed quiet for a few minutes, probably thinking.*

Varan: *holds Uju*

Zero: ...It's crazy how different Juno was back then...he was so short before and now he's insanely tall...heh...I know I said this before, but he's really grown...

Varan: Yeah

Varan: More screaming!?

*Zero's quiet again until horrifying shrieks can be heard outside the ship.*

Varan: Outside we go!

*Zero and Cosmos quickly got up and ran outside to see what's going on.*

Varan: *puts on a doctor breathing mask then follows*

*Cosmos is about to follow Zero outside the ship, but stops at the door.*
Cosmos: Varan...please stay inside. We can't risk getting more monsters infected.

Varan: Won't this mask protect me?

Cosmos: It can...but you're able to get infected if you have an open wound. Please, stay in here and take care of Uju. That's all I ask.

Varan: Okay...

Cosmos: Thank you.
*Cosmos followed Zero outside and closed the door behind him. Maybe Varan can see what's going on out there through the camera system for outside the ship like he did before...*

Varan: Come on Uju, let's watch!

*Going back in the lab, the monitor showed Zero and Cosmos fighting dark purple...things. They looked like they're constantly changing forms, though not noticeable at first. It's pretty obvious that they're related to the disease.*

Varan: Bleh, gross! Are they mutated beings, or is this disease able to maifest itself?

*Sometimes, more creatures would emerge from the ground, proving the disease can manifest itself. They're really strong, too. They're able to knock the two Ultra Warriors to the ground with ease, but doing this caused the creature to become severely deformed. The most disturbing part is that the deformed part would fall off and create another creature from it, as well as regenerate the lost part.*

(I hope that makes sense XD)

Varan: Oh man <:U How are they going to survive?!

(Yup XD)

*Only a minute in the fight and Zero and Cosmos seemed to be losing. Their color timers began flashing red, meaning they're weakened. If their color timers stopped flashing...they'll die.*

(Okay XD)

Varan: Guys! Oh no! They're outnumbered! *looks for buttons to press*

*Just when all seemed lost...beams of light shot through the creatures around Zero and Cosmos, killing them. They also didn't seem to be able to multiply now.*

Varan: Woah! :O Whatever they did is working!!!

*The other creatures immediately backed away, shrieking. That's when 6 red and white Ultras landed near Zero and Cosmos. It's Ultraman, Seven, Jack, Ace, Taro, and Zoffy!*

Varan: More Ultras! Yay!

*Seven stopped to help Zero and Cosmos back inside while the other 5 are busy dealing with the creatures.*

Varan: *runs over to meet them* Zero, Cosmos! :0

*Both of them are in horrible condition. Zero sustained multiple bruises and cuts, and he's limping, so Seven had to assist him when walking. Cosmos also received bruises and cuts from the fight, but he had a black eye and a pretty bad cut on his arm. Seven got Zero to sit down.*
Seven: Now don't move from here, alright?
*Zero nodded before Seven went back outside to help the others with the creatures.*

(That took long to write lol)

Varan: Oh no! Is there still a nurse or doctor not infected?

Zero: Well-- *cough* --if you s-somehow manage to get H-Hikari here then th-that'll be g-great!
*Getting Hikari doesn't seem easy, since the infirmary is now off limits. But there might be a control for the speakers in the control room.*

Varan: I really need a map of this place. I'll see what I can do. And if I can't I can always try my best!

*In the control room, there's a separate monitor next to the main controls for the ship. It seemed to be connected to the camera system, but it's offline. There's also a button with a microphone and speaker next to it. This is the communication system for the entire ship.*

(Sorry if this is super confusing XD)

Varan: Uhhh, I hate technology. Okay whats that thing you talk into? A mic! Uh, here it is!

*To use the communication system, he has to press the button a certain number of times and then the microphone would turn on. He has to press the button 3 times to contact the infirmary.*

Varan: *Reading manual* Oh, okay...so, one two three, testing?

*The microphone seemed to be on.*

Varan: Hello, can anyone hear me? We need Hikaru in the entrance to help repair Cosmos and Zero!

*Static came from the speaker next to the button.*
Hikari: I'll be there as soon as possible. Just don't let them move too much.
*The speaker shut off.*

Varan: *lets out a huge sigh* Thank goodness that worked. Better go and tell them

*Back with Zero and Cosmos, they both seemed to be talking about something.*

Varan: Hikaru is coming guys! ...You seem pretty chill

Zero: Well, there isn't really anything to worry about, so why wouldn't we be?

Varan: Because, you're injured

Zero: Eh, I've been in worse condition before.

Varan: Yeah, probably

*Outside, it sounded like a lot of creatures are dying.*

Varan: Are those bad or good creatures!? e-e

*Zero's about to reply until an explosion is heard from outside, and it became silent.*

Varan: O-O I'm scared...was that...The Ultras?!

Zero: Nah. They don't go down that easily.

Varan: Thry must've killed the creatures then

*A minute later, the 6 Ultramen entered the ship.*

Varan: Hey, what's going on??

Taro: We recently got a report of foreign signals coming from all around Earth, and we suspect that it may be a prelude to an attack. And it also came to our attention that Hikari failed to report back concerning the current situation, so we came to check on everyone.
*Wait...Hikari didn't tell them about what's going on? It's very unlike him...*

Varan: Hold on, hold on, I think I'm piecing this together now! Whoever is preparing to attack us must've made the disease, so none of earths monsters could defend against it!

(Also sorry I've been darn busy as of late xv)

Taro: That's a possibility.
*Nearby, the infirmary doors opened, and Hikari entered the room before he quickly shut the doors behind him. He looked awful. All color on his body is faded or a lot darker than normal in some places, and there's purple underneath his eyes, indicating sleep deprivation. He had old scars in several places, and also bits of dried bl00d that's obviously his own. He's even twitching a little sometimes...*

Varan: Hikari, you're here! ...OMG HIKARI O-O You look terrible

Hikari: I'm fine. There's no need for alarm.
*Hikari just treated Zero and Cosmos's injuries in silence. Sometimes, he glances off to the side like he saw something that no one else in the room can, and he would mutter things to himself. There's obviously something wrong with him, but it didn't seem to be the disease...*

Varan: Everything okay?

Hikari: Yes, I...just thought I saw something.
*This made the others very concerned.*

Varan: Okay (Not sure if I should ask further or not, I don't want to be annoying but he does seem bothered...)

*Seven went over to Hikari.*
Seven: When was the last time you slept?
*Hikari seemed to have a hard time answering, despite how simple the question is.*
Hikari: I can't remember...

Varan: How do you stay up that long? o-o

Ultraman: Hikari, you really should stop and rest. Depriving yourself of sleep isn't going to make anything better.
Hikari: I said I'm FINE!
*It's really not normal for Hikari to lash out like that...*

Varan: Well, he's acting normal..

*Hikari quickly realized what he just did and cleared his throat.*
Hikari: I apologize for my...outburst. Finding a cure for this disease in such little time isn't ever a stress free process...

*Zero decided to speak up.*
Zero: Y'know, it's not easy for anyone else either. It's even worse knowing that those infected are friends, and also...family...

Varan: Yeah...I'm sorry about Tsubasa

*The 6 Ultras looked questioningly at Zero, both confused and worried. They obviously weren't told about Tsubasa. And Zero had to tell them.*
Zero: *sigh* ...Tsubasa got infected...
*At first they looked shocked. Seven looked away, covering his face with one hand while the other 5 looked down. They're in a state of disbelief after what they've heard.*

Varan: *looks down as well, for respect*

???? ????: ...But he won't be infected for long.
*Everyone turned to see who spoke, and it turned out that...it was Dark Zagi himself, followed by Dark Mephisto and Dark Faust. They somehow got in the ship. But...why are they here?*

Varan: Oh no!!! D-dark Z-zagi!!!

*Zero stood up, despite having an injured leg.*
Zero: You! What are you doing here?!
Dark Zagi: And here I thought you would already know. But I suppose I should tell you. I'm here to cure Tsubasa.
*Wait...does Dark Zagi actually have the cure?! How in the world did he get it?*

(DUN DUN DUUUUUUNNNN!)

Varan: :O WHAAAAT

(I did nit expect that at all XD)

*They looked at each other before looking back at Dark Zagi.*
Seven: How do we know that this isn't just a trick?
*The smirk on Dark Zagi's face widened, and he held up a small vial, filled with some dark blue liquid. This must be the cure.*

Varan: A vial o.o Will that cure anyone?!

Dark Zagi: Anyone infected, yes.
*Everyone took a minute to think about this.*

*Hikari's about to walk back to the infirmary but Zero stopped him.*

Dark Zagi: Face it, Zero. Tsubasa will eventually turn to the darkness, like he's destined to.
*This immediately made Zero mad.*
Zero: If you claim to be the better father, then why insist on forcing something like this on him?! I know he wants to protect what he loves, and I know he won't be persuaded into doing otherwise! Just because he was created to destroy everything around him, it doesn't mean he can't go another path in life!

*Clearly tired of listening to Zero and Dark Zagi argue, Hikari said something to Zero and led Dark Zagi and his servants into the infirmary. Jack and Ace followed them to make sure they didn't do anything that could worsen the situation. Zero just sat back down, clearly angered by what Dark Zagi said.*

*Varan followed them in, from a distance, afraid that something could go wrong at any moment, but he had to see what would happen if Hikari was trusting*

*The Infirmary hallway smelled like death and decay, and the dark purple substance is now covering the walls and ceiling, even bits of the floor and a few doors. Up ahead, Hikari led Dark Zagi and his servants to Tsubasa's room, with Jack and Ace keeping an eye on them. Not long after, it sounded like Biollante shouting.*
Biollante: WHAT'S HE DOING HERE?!

*Varan turned to look at her in a bit of a shock and tried to explain, but couldn't really come up with much of an answer*
Varan: Umm..Hikari let him in. He has a cure he says!

Hikari: Listen, he's here to cure Tsubasa, not to hurt anyone.
*Biollante clearly became less aggressive, but still had her guard up.*

Varan: Yeah (I really hope this won't backfire..Hm, maybe I should hide Uju from them) Biollante, can you watch Uju for me?

*Actually...Uju didn't seem to be with Varan anymore. It must've gotten scared and hid somewhere when Dark Zagi showed up.*

(Btw the others are with Tsubasa right now and Biollante's keeping an eye on them. Just fyi)

(Okay)

Varan: Oh no.Uju?! Oh boy, I hope he's okay!

*He wanted to look around, but he gad all ready followed Dark Zagi enough, it would take longer to go back*

*In Tsubasa's room, Jack and Ace are both shocked by Tsubasa's condition. Tsubasa had multiple scars, all with purple liquid leaking out. He's also pale and the same purple liquid came out of his eyes. He didn't seem to be conscious.*

*Varan was horrified by the site, seeing someone in this state, so he tried to look away while he was there*

*Even Dark Zagi's smirk faded when he saw Tsubasa like this. He put the cure down and searched for a syringe, and when he found one, he filled it with the cure, staying silent the whole time.*

*Varan covered hos eyes because he's scared of needles*

*Dark Zagi injected the cure in Tsubasa's arm, and put down the syringe when he's done.*
Dark Zagi: It will take a few hours for him to be completely cured.

Varan: What are you going to do then?

Dark Zagi: I have things to attend to elsewhere.
*Dark Zagi and his servants then left, with Jack and Ace still following them.*

Varan: ....

*There's silence for a minute until Hikari spoke up.*
Hikari: ...There's still hope for us.
*Biollante just looked at him, confused.*
Biollante: What makes you so sure about that?

Varan: There..really is??

Hikari: Yes.
*Hikari held up another vial that he was actually hiding behind his back...and it had a little bit of the cure in it. Did he actually sneak some of it into a vial while no one was looking?*

Varan: :O

*Biollante's shocked that Hikari had a bit of the cure.*
Biollante: ...Well, now I believe you!

Varan: Yay! : D But, thats not enough for everyone is it?

Hikari: No. We'll have to study it and try creating more of it.
Biollante: And the thing is that it could take days to fully study the cure.

Varan: Oh <:u Do we have that much time?

Hikari: Maybe not for...a few monsters, but perhaps for most of them.

Varan: W-w-what do you mean?

*Biollante looked down.*
Biollante: ...Juno only has hours to live. And Rodan and King Ceasar's condition is getting worse. We suspect that they'll die within a week, but we're not entirely sure of it.

Varan: No.. <:c Not Rodan and King Ceaser! My best bros...and not Juno!! Hes so young!

*Everyone's silent again. All of a sudden, the room started to feel cold. REALLY cold. Someone must've messed with the ship's temperature.*

Varan: C-Cold! Talk about atmospheric timing. Is the AC on?

Considering Biollante was a plant, this probably was not good for her

Hikari: It should be...
*Biollante went out into the hall and called out.*
Biollante: Hey! Gigan! What's going on over there?!
*Gigan called back.*
Gigan: Juno just woke up and busted the heating system! I don't know if it can be fixed!

Varan: Oh no!! But without that... we'll be cold!

*Biollante went to see if the heating system can be repaired, while Hikari just...stared at the floor, looking deep in thought.*

Varan: How will this effect the patients?

Hikari: Hopefully not in a negative way.

Varan: Doesn't cold slow down diseases?

Hikari: For some diseases, yes. Others, no. However, we weren't able to determine what temperatures this disease can withstand because of how complex it is.

Varan: Well, now we find out...Have a blanket?

Hikari: Stored in the corner, yes.

Varan: *gets blanket* Ahh, so warm. Uju would love th---UJU! He must be freezing!

*Hikari's silent, as if he had something on his mind.*

*While looking for Uju, something felt...weird. He had an intense urge to cough or vomit. But he should be fine...right?*

*His vision continued to darken, and his ears rang. It's getting harder to walk or see what's in front of him. Eventually, he just passed out.*

*It felt like eternity before a blinding light surrounded him.*

*When his eyes adjusted to the light, he didn't seem to be in the ship anymore. Instead, he's in a field. There are no clouds in the sky, and there's a slight breeze. There's a tree in front of him, bigger than any other tree he's ever seen in his life. There's also someone sitting down in its shade. Maybe they know where he is?*

Varan: Ohh...Whats going on?! ...Hm? Hey,,I'm not alone!! HEY!

*The being beckoned him over. They seem to want to talk to him.*

Varan: Y-Y-Yes??

??????: I'm sure you're very confused about what's going on. But I understand, since this is your first time here.
*What does he mean by that?*

Varan: I am Varan! :O How did you know!? A-and you're Legend! The LEGEND! You're a LEGEND!!

*Legend chuckled.*
Legend: Yes. I know you because I've been watching over you and your friends ever since you were born. In fact, I've even kept you alive throughout your life.
*Wait...he did?*

Varan: But I've never seen you. How did you protect us?

Legend: I transmitted my energy to you and your friends after you were born, so that you'd live. I've been warning you all of future dangers through dreams, though they sometimes don't reach everyone. I've even warned other Ultras of full scale invasions before they happen. But now...I need your help.
*If Legend himself is asking for help, then something must be very wrong...*

Varan: My help?? Why didn't you just get Godzilla, I'm not anyone's first choice, rightly so. Everyone else is a lot better

Legend: I believe that you're capable of completing the task I'm giving you.
*He...he actually believes in him.*

Legend: Alright. The creature that crashed on your island, Uju, possesses a tremendous amount of power. This power can be easily used to bring the god of death himself back into the world. I need you to protect it at all costs.
*Varan was also told of a monster called Bagan. He was known as the god of death for having the power to kill any creature around him until he was sealed away by Noa, King, and Legend himself. But...Uju of all creatures can bring him back?!*

(Noa and King are also godlike Ultras btw)

Varan: Ok (I don't see what Uju has to do with the god of death. But I guess Mothra does have those two little fairies.) I've been protecting Uju from---Oh wait, I'm not with Uju right now! I'm a bad parent! ;o;

Legend: Don't worry. It's safe right now. However...I saw what the future will be. I saw you die protecting Uju. After you died, Dark Zagi used its power to destroy Earth and everyone on it. But I know how you can avoid this.
