I don't know which took longer, my full odds soft resetting for shiny type: null or this hunt for Mudkip. Well, it took months and I finally got it so I made a quick doodle to celebrate this special guy!

Heh, I remember how long it took me to hatch a shiny Charmander back in BW. After I already hatched several eggs, I learned about the Masuda method. I tried it, and I think the shiny Charmander arrived within the next 20 eggs.
I then tried to get a shiny Treecko through the same method. The end result was several boxes of regular Treecko. It gave me something to trade in the gts at least. xD

Oh, and congratulations on finally getting a shiny mudkip!
For whatever reason, I run into a TON of shinies without even trying. One time, in a span of 24 real-life hours I ran into 3 seperate shinies, or something completely insane like that! No joke!
I don't know if its luck, or if I'm just so bad at shiny hunting that the shiny pokemon just take pity on me...
