Teslon itself is a technologically advanced city. It's located in the central area of a great big depression in the land, surrounded by mountains. More accurately, it's an enormous crater that's been around long enough for a particular kind of long, wheat-like plant to naturally grow there in abundance.
Though this plant is the only kind of biology to thrive there naturally, many mysterious rusted relics are scattered throughout the crater, alongside countless automotons that are rumored to be created by a civilization beyond Teslon itself. These ancient things vary so much in size, appearance and intended function that they've created a sort of "ecosystem" of their own, and are hated and feared by Teslon's inhabitants.
