After the confrontation with Rush, his old body got banged up. He, like Bass and after seeing Rush, doesn't want to be shown up so Treble/Gospel volunteered to be built as a hybrid like Rush, his rival.

Unlike Rush, who have to get used to his new body, he gotten used to his with no problem. "Just you wait Rush and Megaman! Bass and I will defeat you!"
