Vincent hugged her back and pushed her into the wall, not letting go. “You should be sorry. Nothing I say should ever make you feel uncomfortable.” He lifted one hand to her neck and then released the hug, choking her against the wall.

The girl grabbed the pajamas from a drawer and handed them each a pair that fit them perfectly. She then dipped her head respectfully and left the room, most likely to stand outside it for the whole night and guard the room.

Asher looked at Sirius and sighed sorrowfully, “I’m feeling rather conflicted right now.... The king, Nicholas, couldn’t possibly be my father, right? They share the same name but... Nicholas could very well be fake.”

“You aren’t leaving here. I like you too much to watch you go.” He chuckled to himself, looking almost scared of himself, “It’s strange for me to so badly crave the affection of someone dangerous and as powerful as you are. We’ve barely even spoken, yet I still want to hold you at night and drink smoothies with you on hot mornings...” He pressed his hand harder into her throat, desperately trying to suffocate her until she’ll eventually pass out.

His face flattened, “I am unsure of my own strengths and weaknesses. Under pressure, my power’s strength is a fraction of what it is when I’m calm, so I may not have been able to,” he paused to think, then added, “Wouldn’t we at least remember seeing him, though?”

Vincent glared at her, “Well now, it’s too late. I cannot stop or else you’ll find a way to run from me.” He carefully moved his body away from her leg so that she could not knee him.

Asher looked even more confused, but decided it was best for himself to not think about it too much. He carefully began removing his suit, staring at his friend’s blood stains in the expensive fabrics.

“Shhh... Just go to sleep, Amanda.” Vincent whispered softly to her as she struggled. “I don’t want you to get hurt. You’re too perfect right now.” He tightened his grasp, not letting her pull his hand away.

Asher stared at Sirius for long moment before cuddling himself up against his friend and falling asleep. In his sleep, Asher gently wrapped his arms around Sirius, subconsciously thinking of him as a pillow or stuffed animal.

Vincent dropped her and looked at her limp body, now gently biting on the tip of his thumb, trying to figure out how he wants to keep her here. He would want her to have some freedom, but tying her up so she couldn’t move would keep her from ever breaking free. Eventually, he left the room and returned with beautiful red ribbon. The ribbon was infused with binding magic, so should Amanda ever try and break free, it would just tighten more and more until she stopped struggling or her limbs got cut off.

Asher had been awake for quite some time, but held onto Sirius just for comfort. “You are very still when you sleep,” He stated, quietly as he tightened the hug.

Vincent gently ran his hands down the back of her dress, and carefully poked around her body, finding exactly where her four wings were placed.* With those in mind, he began binding her ankles together, then knotted the ribbon into a bow. He refused to remove her dress, so instead of decorating her body as he wanted, he tied around her chest to bind her back wings, then tied her hands together so she could not use that secondary power. Once he was done, he stood up and looked at her as if she were an incredible work of art.

*Where GVs can summon wings and tails, the muscle and skin there is structured ever so slightly different than regular muscle and skin. The difference is unnoticeable at first, but once it’s pointed out, it’s easier to figure out where the wings are located. When anything with binding magic is applied on top of the location of the wings, the vampire struggles to force the wings to appear, because the magic is being concealed.

“Over the course of the night, four or five of the kings came and looked at us. I strongly dislike the king with the black mask.” Asher calmly looked at the ceiling. “He kept whispering in our ears, and it sounded almost as if multiple voices were emitting from his mouth.” He sat up and looked down at Sirius, feeling confused over the events that took place overnight.

“I don’t think they wanted to look at us because we’re visitors. One of them was whispering to herself about how much she hated Blue and that she didn’t want to be in the room with us. She had an accent of sorts, but it wasn’t from a language I’ve heard before.” He looked at Sirius, “I would have told them to go away, but I didn’t want them to realize I was awake.”

Vincent smiled as she woke up. “You’re awake~! I made tea and coffee while you slept. Which would you prefer?” He asked as if nothing happened. “Be careful not to struggle. The ribbon might bind so tight that it cuts into your beautiful skin.”
