Thoughts on the style I used here? I'm still struggling with finding one. One of my goals of this year is to get that sorted out.

Ooh this is great! Love it. Love the colors, shading, background, everything.
As for my thoughts on the style? I like it, but I like most artstyles so perhaps me liking it is to be expected. XD
I think the style's nice, and of course can be even nicer with further refinement.
I think it's kinda hard to judge a style by the early/unrefined versions of it. A style can start off plain but be refined into something more with time.
